Sleeve is breathable, thin, & offers reasonable protection against the sun. The only thing is that the color black may take in a lot of heat if you are directly in the sun for a while and it could get hot. A few shade sessions could help counter this. Material is reasonably durable but if it scrapes on something sharp or abrasive it could get worn or slightly torn. Very comfortable, slightly tight around the arm area but isn’t too noticeable. Got these for the hubby for motorcycle riding to work. He says it's soft and cooling and protects from the sun. Only thing is 1 of the 4, the white one, had a run on it upon opening. All others seemed to be good.

It’s comfortable and seems to fit a variety of arm sizes. I gave a couple of pairs to my dad who has muscular arms and a couple of pairs to my teenaged daughter, and both of them (who are avid golfers and are in the sun for many hours, several days a week) said the sleeves are comfortable. I wanted to get these because I like to ride my motorcycle in the summer wearing short sleeves, but I don’t always like caking on sunscreen. These have been really good at protecting me from the sun. The only problem is they leave a little gap between the end of the sleeve and my gloves that I get sun on. They are also lightweight and breathable. Even in the summer heat of 90+ degree Fahrenheit and 32+ degree Celsius. Quality is fine, I have only had a few snags in the stitching at the top or bottom of the sleeves. Easy to clean, I’ve just thrown them in the wash with other clothes and hung them up to dry and they have done fine. Overall good value for your money. ... show more
