Despite the glowing headlines, understand, you can only get so much value for so much money. I have this keyboard integrated with my d.a.w., Reaper... finally. That took about 12 hours over 2 days. It was sooo worth the effort! All the software works properly on Windows 10 and sounds fantastic. All the surface controls are smooth and do what I want and tell them to do. The key sensitivity and after touch are both working. That is the value that you get, a keyboard that keeps it's promises. But to receive this value, there are things that you give up. The keys are spring loaded, not weighted so this thing feels like a toy under your fingers. Other than the view screen, the control knob and the screws that hold it together, this whole keyboard is plastic. The key pressure sensing at factory default settings feels really unnatural and I think that the manufacturer was trying to replicate the inertial resistance of a pianos hammers... but it just ends up making you play much softer or louder than your fingers meant to. Tried to edit the curve to fix the problem, but it's non-editable, just a few presets to chose from. After picking the preset that fits me best, a month later I am still adjusting my play style to produce the intended sound (and touching it up in a midi editor). All of that said, I am fully satisfied with my purchase, and will buy Arturia products in the future, because when I balance how well this keyboard does what it does do against the price and the things that I wish it did, I know that I got a great deal!     • Great but not as good as the MKII. Move to USB-C is a good thing. Cheap but good sustain pedal.

If you are going to buy this thinking it will be exactly like the MKII do not buy it unless there are other things this offers that you like. I like it and will be keeping it because I wanted a smaller midi controller than my 61 Key MKII. I also like the move to USB-C which allows me to plug into my Mac Studio with a short straight USB-C to USB-C cable and declutters the desk a bit. The interface is nice and integration with Logic is seamless once you use the installer script on the Arturia website. However, you can no longer change the keyboard midi channel with a change to a new user preset. On the MKII you could do that. It's easy to change it to what you want but it is an extra step I feel is unnecessary. However, there may have been user feedback that made them change this. So, it may just be me that is inconvenienced by this. I also do not understand why it is harder to get a black version than a white version. Arturia is a great company. I own lots of their gear and software. However, sometimes they are awkward with certain aspects of their products. Overall, a great controller though. ... show more
