  • Deceived or am I stupid
I thought I was getting two 16 oz bottles because description stated 16 oz. But no no no. 8 oz bottles added together gets you to 16 total oz. So not a bargain and no longer impressed

  • I love this stuff
I use this on paintings and on coasters. It is expensive so I typically buy larger quantities. If you know you are going to be doing a lot the larger bottles are a better value. However, it has a shelf life after opening of about 6 months. So I recommend the smaller bottles if you're only doing one project. My husband and I are making coaster sets, I'm making the coasters. He's making lovely boxes to put them in. It takes about 1 ounce total between both the hardener and the resin at 1/2 ounce each. Since I am doing 4 coasters and a top tile for each set I'm using about 5 ounces a set and am buying the larger quantity to get a rate of about 1 dollar per coaster. We are making 20 sets of these for Christmas presents. This resin is fume free so you can use it in the house. It has a longer working time than many resins. It does not yellow. Using it in the house is important to me because I can't take the summer heat for any length of time in Louisiana. My husband used a resin on a piece of furniture that got hot and actually melted the container he was mixing it in. This resin does not heat up like that. Make sure you scrape the sides and bottom when you are stirring it, and for Heaven's sake stir it for the full 3 minutes. Make sure that you have a torch to run a flame over the surface which will pop all those pesky bubbles. I use a chef's torch. The art resin site has videos and ideas on ways to use it and will answer pretty much all questions you have about it. My clients love the resin on my paintings. The colors just pop and eliminate the need for framing. This resin can only withstand temperatures of about 120 degrees as I understand it so it won't work for trivets which was something else I was thinking of doing. ... show more

  • So many bubbles
This is the 3rd AB resin brand I have tried. They all have pros and cons. This one has the prettiest bottles, comes with a sticker, well packaged, and more expensive than others. However...even if I had slight mess ups with other brands they always cured. This ome seems harder to mix, doesn't cure very hard, and the bubbles never seem to rise. Every pour felt like a waste with this one. Whereas other brands didn't seem as smooth they at least did the job. Every art resin pour took DAYS to cure and I for sure followed directions and am not some novice idiot. ... show more

  • Bottles WAY TOO SMALL
I've been using a different brand of Epoxy Resin which is much cheaper and works just as well. I was shocked when I opened the box to see how small these two bottles are. The other works just as good.

  • Excellent product!
I don’t know what people are complaining about this. It was the first time I used resin to seal my rocks and they looked amazing! It dried over night and it’s crystal clear! The only issue I have is that its caps get stuck with after pour left over(?) at the top of the bottle so it is getting harder to open as time goes on. I know it’s pricey but I think it’s worth the money! ... show more

  • 24 hours later, still tacky and NOT hard.
Needed something to line some 3d printed cup-like things to hold icing squeeze bottles, to seal the inside, because 3d printed items are somewhat porous. Mixing and application went well. I measured as accurately as I could, which I think was very accurately. After 24 hours, the stuff is still tacky. I can dent it easily with my finger nail. I was expecting it to get completely hard like other epoxy mixes I've used. But, this has not yet gotten hard. After 48 hours it is harder, but now "crack" hard like I was hoping for, If you read this and have suggestions for a different brand (on Amazon) that hardens completely in 24 hours, please add a comment. ... show more

  • Amazing results
I was skeptical about the product due to the fact that it is more expensive than other brands but let me tell you it is worth every penny. Beautiful crystal clear results. I hit it with the blow torch and it knocked out all of the air bubbles

  • Great product - But lack of tools
This is nice resin. I love the fact that it's non-toxic and has virtually no smell. I like the consistency, that it's flexible and very clear. It worked good for the project I was working on. The only thing I did not like was that when I opened the box, all that was in there was a bottle of resin & a bottle of hardener. No gloves, no stir sticks, no measuring cups and no dang instructions! I was hesitant to buy this product in the first place due to the small amount for the price I paid. But I wanted something non-toxic. I was irritated that I had to rummage around to find something to mix in & stir with. I also had to go to their website to find out the specific instructions on this product. 😒 ... show more
