In person they are more of a gray color instead of an army green. They are really easy to assemble so that is great. The last thing I’ll add is that the material is just microfiber. I thought it was more of a faux leather slick material that would be easy to wipe spills but it’s not. I bought two of these chairs to accent our new mid-century dining area and to use as extra dining chairs when we put the extension in the table for guests. They are not the most comfortable chairs, but they are unique and add a mid-century vibe to the space. Everyone who visits asks where we found them :) I am very happy with the look and they seem sturdy enough for the purpose. If you have carpet, you'll need to find a way to slide them.
