  • Good tablet but screen developed a green stripe!
I use this for online math teaching and it has worked very well for me. However, after less than 2 weeks it developed a very visible green stripe on the top 2 cm or so of the screen which appears after about 10 minutes. The display looks fine when first turned on. For me it's an annoyance so I'm returning it for a replacement, hopefully to get a better panel. If you're planning on using this for art or photography, it would be a serious issue. IMHO overall it's a very good product for the price, but watch out for color uniformity issues. Also, download the manual and app and follow the directions for setting it up, particularly mapping the pen to the correct display if you have more than one monitor. If the power button is red and nothing is displayed on the screen, you need to use the power cable in line with the USB. UPDATE: I got the replacement screen and it seems to work fine. I added a star because overall it's a very useful device, but it still has QA issues. ... show more

  • Decent product
I liked this drawing tablet. It’s pocket friendly and is really easy to use. I like that the screen is big. It does what it’s supposed to do. My issue with it, is that sometimes my computer doesn’t detect the tablet has been concerted. Before I had to either restart the computer or uninstall and install the tablet driver, now I just disconnect the cables from the computer and that usually does the trick. ... show more

  • Great for Beginners and People on a Budget
Originally I had a Hunion drawing tablet that was 11.6 inches and worked the same way as this one. So when I saw the fact that it was almost 16 inches for the same price as my Hunion I had to try it. It worked almost the same way my Hunion one did. But there are some negatives. The control panel buttons are customizable which is great, but you can’t customize the buttons for different programs like I could do in the Hunion. The pen is also weird with the hovering, I have to be super close for it to pick up on the tablet, but I have 2 other monitors and when I’m using the pen for the tablet it picks up on my main screen and the tablet so it has trouble drawing. I believe that part is just my own because I haven’t heard of any one els having this problem, so I’ll need a new one of those. But unlike the Hunion 11.6 it comes with a stand which are $40+ and the Artisoul tablet came with a stand. The fact that it’s 15.6 inch, cheap, and comes with a stand which is crazy good. I personally use my for 2D/3D animation and the drawing is really good but the pen pressure could be better, but I’m not really one to pay attention to it so I didn’t care about it. If your debating on buying it, I think you should, especially if your just getting into 3D or 2D animation. ... show more

  • Great tablet for any sort of artist!
I would like to start off by saying that, overall, this is a very good, affordable tablet! I honestly wished there were tablets like these when I first got one other than the unaffordable Wacom displays. With that said, let’s get to the Pros and Cons (very minor! Not really deal breakers!) Pros: -I am so happy that this tablet came with a matte screen protector already applied! I feel like nobody does that! It was absolutely perfect to draw on! Super easy to get used to after coming from my wacom and ipad pro! -I like that it doesn’t need to be plugged into the wall and in general the plugs are very sturdy! I was afraid of things cutting out like with my cintiqs over the years but nope! -I’m using Windows and I love how as soon as you plug it in the driver appears in the tray! All the settings are easy to setup too so I love how seamless it all was! Cons: -I think the drivers for the device need to roll out more since I find it important to keep things up to date software wise? -It has a roller ring that you can use to cycle to layers or zoom in or out etc but I couldn’t get it working on Clipstudio unfortunately! I thought I could set it up like the other express keys but there wasn’t an option to? -It seemed there was a delay sometimes when I would make quick strokes or used certain brushes? I would have to press down and release in order for a watercolor brush to work and the cursor at times would become uncalibrated but would snap back in like a second. Like I said the cons aren’t really deal breakers since those are things that would probably get fixed through updates and such! I really loved working on this piece with it too so I would highly recommend for any sort of artist! Whether your starting out or a professional that needs a cheaper option and wants the screen display experience! ... show more

  • GREAT tablet for hobbyists and beginners.
Before I spend this amount of money on something, I go crazy researching and comparing different items. I must have watched a few hours worth of reviews and comparisons before I decided to purchase this tablet. Let me say, I am NOT disappointed. The build quality is great. It is solid but not too heavy. Easy to handle, works great on the included stand, and also works fine on my lap. Also, it is not like a laptop and there is no discernible heat emitted. The matte screen protector feels good with the included pen and nibs and keeps it glare free. This is my first tablet and I am completely satisfied. The only minor gripe I have is the driver software. It is pretty generic and could use some polish but it works and does what it needs to. Installation was very easy, just follow the instructions. Make sure to go into the driver and go to "Monitor Mapping" and select the Artisul D16 in order for the pen to work on the tablet. An added benefit is that this will work as a second monitor for your PC or laptop when you are not using it to draw. The precision is very spot on and there is very little parallax. There is virtually no latency either. It DOES NOT support the tilt function, but honestly, that doesn't matter unless you are more of a pro and you're probably better off with a different tablet. I hope that if you are on the fence about making a purchase, you just pull the trigger on this. You won't be disappointed. Make sure you have enough space on your desk because it does take up a good amount of real estate. That's all I have to say as of now. I hope this helps. ... show more
