Rug was purchased for nursery for upcoming baby. The rug was nicely wrapped and protected, and delivered safely in rainy weather. The rug has a chemical smell that lasted about 24 hours. It unrolled and laid flat on it own after about 72 hours. I love this rug, I can't believe I got it for such a low price!! It adds fun and quirkiness to my boring dining area. The rug is still a bit wrinkled after a couple of days, but it will flatten out over time. The corners lay flat and it is very soft. Others have mentioned it is flat, and it is so if you're using this in a high traffic area I would recommend a rug pad underneath. The color is a true cream and the x's can pass for charcoal or black. Shipping was fast! I love it so much! ... show more

It is cheaply made however, I can't afford a $1,200 rug that looks similar. You definitely get what you pay for however I really like it and it works for our room. There isn't much underneath it so you definitely need a pad and that gives it a little more substance. It is easy to clean so far.

I wanted to love this rug as much as I loved the pattern and the image on the product page. The color runs more yellow than I’d like - it’s manila folder color not so neutral cream. I did lay heavy boxes over surface to help flatten out the bumps. After 24-hrs it is pretty flat. I will be added a cushioned non-slip pad under.
