I was very reluctant to order this item because I needed it for a recumbent tricycle. That wasn’t mentioned in their ads. Turns out it works great. The flexible yet adjustable mounting grip is very stable even on bumpy roads. I don’t know what material is in the flexible arm but it sure works better than some plastic contraptions I tried. A larger mirror would have been nice for me but unnecessary for bicyclists. A complaint.: it took a long time to get here. Worth the wait though. ... show more

Got this for my e-scooter because the arm is long enough to see around my shoulders. None of the others work at all on my scooter. The clamp is strong and the arm is rigid enough to hold up even on bumpy roads with these 8" solid wheels. Addressing some of the other reviews - the arm attachment is held on with a pressure fitting. You have to loosen it to get the arm in and tighten it to keep it from sagging. The instructions aren't clear about that but that's all it takes to overcome that problem. The cloudy mirror you can't see through is caused by a protective film over the glass. It doesn't have a tab. Hook it with your fingernail and pull it off. There is one problem I agree with, though. The convex design of the mirror, on such a small mirror, makes it difficult to determine what is coming up behind me. I don't need to see everything. I just need to see if it's a car or another scooter coming around me so I know how far I can move left and right. On a scooter you need to avoid big bumps - you move around a lot.. So 4 stars. If it had a flat mirror I would give it 5. ... show more

Very easy to put together. I'm a 66 yr old man with rhemetory arthritis. This mirror works great so far on my Mobility Scooter. Clamp hold very secure to handle bars. I would buy again
