We used to have a nice big old tree in front of the garage and the HOA cut it down. I needed something to provide some shade for my vegetable garden and flowers I grow on my balcony. We get the scalding afternoon sun on the plants and they were suffering terribly. This fake ivy fence did the trick and provided some privacy too. We have a lot of wind here and a sunbrella was not going to help. My husband didn’t like it — he thinks it’s tacky. But you know, I’m the wife ;-) It comes in rectangles snapped together in a long row. I had to snap together the rows. The box comes with zip ties. I also bought long plant stakes to add additional support in holding the plastic fence up together. I zip tied the fence sandwiching it between the balcony railing and the stakes. From the distance it looks real. If you get close up, you can see it’s fake. Why 4 stars: It’s not fast to put it together. It took me one afternoon and one morning to put it up. One of the snaps was missing (see photo) — I used one zip tie to hold that part together. I used the tip of a small spoon to push the snap down because it’s hard to go in. It also has a strong wax smell. If you’re planning on using it inside, keep this in mind. Time will tell if they’ll fade and how they’ll hold up during windy storms. For the moment, I’m happy it’ll keep my plants from getting wilted and I kind of like the way it looks.

I have always dreamed of having a beautiful garden, but the withered grass behind me is really annoying. Fortunately, I have found this perfect privacy fence. It not only completely solves the problem of withered grass, but also provides excellent privacy protection, making my garden look brand new! Firstly, the quality of this privacy fence is amazing. It is made of artificial ivy material and looks super sturdy and durable. Even in harsh weather conditions, it can still remain as is and has outstanding practicality! Secondly, the appearance of this privacy fence is really beautiful. The leaves are very dense and realistic, and I really like them. I can even adjust its height as needed to meet my different needs, and the installation is also very simple, which really makes me happy! Most importantly, the privacy protection function of this privacy fence is amazing! It is a barrier to external vision, allowing me to enjoy privacy and tranquility in the garden without worrying about privacy issues. Now, I can freely enjoy time in the garden and never be disturbed by withered grass again!

Nice product. Love the look and the privacy used on railing in long deck. My miniature poodle sniffs in between leaves but has not damaged. It has been through some strong winds but survived well. It is covered by roof so don't compare with someone that might have the material in the open or against a fence framing the property.

DEC 12, 2024: The wind broke the plastic strands holding it together. It's so thin it didn't even last a year! I wish I could send this back! 😔 APRIL 15, 2024: I like the fact it acts as a barrier for my screened patio for privacy. Great price for item. Easy to put together and they give you alot of zip ties to put the item together ❤️ March 13, 2025 Item keeps breaking and falling apart. Did last outside a whole year! Waste of money! Dislikes: The product is not the length or width it claims to be. It is just a couple inches off, which is okay because it fits my screen. It's not really full with leaves 😕 you can see the plastic gaps. And I feel like some of the leaves will come off over time because they don't look fully secured.

Really love this screen, hung it on the west side of my backyard patio to reduce the sun rays, glare & reflection of uv that bounces off the neighbors house and would heat up the patio my living space. Since hanging it has reduced the suns rays uv & glare, it actually cut my power bill last summer so this pays for itself. The sizing for is appreciated however I do wish it had more leaves to create a dense folage & provide more screening. Doesnt smell, looks great and adds a greenery, visual relaxing space. We secured with extra zip ties to sturdy it up but the winds really gave it a licking but I will say its strudy and has held up & very strudy. I would love to line my block wall with these if I could find a way to secure them without it blowing off since it would help reduce the heat & uv for my plants.

The product covered the fence well and it was easy to install. We have had ours up for about one year and the plastic mesh is getting brittle and it is breaking. I have had to reinstall the same piece of fencing twice now because it keeps falling down.
