I have only had this Artificial Ivy Privacy Fence Wall Screen for a little while. So far it has been what I expected. There was a very light smell, but I'm using it outside so it was not a problem. It is very flexible and easy to install, even though it was not on a fence. Most of the space I have it on does not have backing. The quality seems well and is as stated. It looks nice on the porch and is good for privacy. I can hardly see out of it or into it from the back side. The zip ties were not really helpful, as they were the wrong color and did not match the color of the screen. I used some of the flowers to reinforce the connecting corners of the panels. I used zip ties to connect it to the space that I was using and some of the included zip ties to reinforce the panel connections. ... show more

One side of my house has a very narrow yard with a concrete block lower fence and and an even uglier chain link fence above that. The fence separates my yard and a next door pathway to a rear apartment occupied by neighbors. A long potting table next to my side of the fence blocks my view of the lower fence, but I have wanted an attractive yet inexpensive way to create more privacy for both my neighbors and me, and to obscure the chain link eyesore. This roll of artificial ivy was ideal. It fits the space perfectly, was easy to attach to the fence with included zip ties (although I used longer ones on hand for easier installation), and is attractive. Just know that, as shown, the ivy wall is not as dense as some artificial greenery walls. I can see the shadows of people walking on the other side, but that is fine with me. It probably is why this roll was less expensive than some others, but it also lets some light and breeze through. If greater privacy is your top priority, it may not be the best choice, but it is perfect for my use. ... show more

I needed to get a privacy fence around my pool that is screened in. My husband had bought this fence before and I wanted to wrap it all the way around my pool area. The value for the money was one thing that was very important to me. The ease of use of putting this together was quite simple. It rolls out in my husband, had to put in small hooks and attach through zip ties. The flexibility was wonderful. My only issue I have with this product is that when the sun bakes on it The plastic becomes quite brittle. Then I have to reattach through a new zip tie on another part of the plastic. I have this unsightly concrete board wall around my above ground pool. I bought a few of these fences and put them up one, two, three around the wall. In one of the pics, you can see the gray board on the inside because I ran out. I love how this turned out. Gonna buy some more to run on the inside.     • Looks nice - but major flaw

Bought about 50' of this product and installed it 6 months ago for a privacy screen in my pool area. FIRST THE "OK" NEWS - it's a natural color and looks realistic. The leaves are reasonably dense, but as some reviewers noted you can see through it a bit - so if you need something that is absolutely not see through - this may not be the product for you. Installation was pretty easy but the zip ties provided are fairly short and it takes a bit of finger gymnastics for one person to wrap the zip tie around a fence picket and attach it while trying to hold the "blanket" up on the fence. Longer zip ties would make it easier and they should provide that with the product (I purchased a bunch of longer sturdier ties on Amazon for a few $) . I recruited my wife to help hold things while I maneuvered the zip ties and that helped a lot - honestly this is a two (or more) person install job -certainly for the larger sizes. While the vast majority of the leaves have stayed firmly attached, I did experience a few that fell off during installation and a few more that later detached during particularly windy days (20+ mph gusts). Overall, it has maintained its color and appearance fairly well in the first 6 months. NOW THE BAD NEWS - the plastic "mesh" frame that holds all of the leaves has become so brittle that entire sections of the product are just falling off of the fence. At first I thought the zip ties were breaking but that was not the case - and for those skeptics who may think I didn't use enough zip ties - as mentioned before I bought extras such that I installed over three times the number that came with the size I ordered. All of my zip ties were still attached to the fence but the mesh itself had become so brittle that even a light touch with your finger would snap it. Moving the zip ties to unbroken sections of the mesh provide futile as it would simply break the brittle mesh in a new area. It has become so brittle that simply the weight of the blanket itself is enough for it to break loose from the fence - without the assistance of even the slightest breeze. I will contact the seller to see what they may suggest, but I see no way to rescue the current installation. Were it not for this issue, I would be fairly happy with the purchase and price paid. However, my recommendation is not to buy this product unless you are comfortable replacing it EVERY SIX MONTHS. Good Luck! ... show more

Looks great; longevity not! Came back here on the close of year 3 after installation to say it’s been brittle for the last year. Can’t touch it without it crumbling. Missing pieces from wind. I will say, though, it had stood up to two years of sun and the elements before it started to fall apart.
