This came fast and in very sturdy shipping packaging. The unit is not super duty quality build like other brands but is sturdy enough to survive professional use in a mechanic shop. You may not be able to take this to war but you can take it to work and use it every day. The camera articulation is great even thought its only Left and Right pannable. The image is very clear. It's not 1080p but, you'll be able to see damage or whatever you need to see. Screen is HUGE!!! Any bigger, it would be obnoxious. Great screen size.

This Borescope came in just in time that I had a bathroom drain leakage that I had no way to see from the ceiling cutout. I used the long endoscope to get into the unreachable tight area to see where the leakage happens.... I was able to identify that it was my bath spout erosion, instead of any copper pipe or drain pipe issue. Before this, I had 2 plumbers to come in and inspect, and they gave me very vague repair plan with insane price, now with this tool's help, I was able to tell what exactly I need before they scam me with an unreasonable quote. A must have for a family! highly recommended!

I found the device is very easy to use. The picture is really clear and the ability to take a video or photo to show to a customer is great. The only thing I would like is a bit longer cable. The ability to go 6-10 feet instead of 3 feet even if having to purchase a new adapter would be perfect. If you are considering this scope you need to buy it. This is perfect for mechanic jobs.

Camera has great resolution on 1080. The camera menu is very easy to navigate. I could see that once the operator got used to it, it would be a breeze to use. The camera tip articulates easily left and right, but not up and down. You also have to move the screen upside down, left and right to keep up with the camera which is a little frustrating. The light on the top is very bright and sometimes overwhelms the picture due to the reflection. If you are snaking the camera in a large open area, it’s very hard to control the direction. If you are going down a small opening that controls your direction, it’s a breeze. Well made sturdy storage box that provides good protection and makes is easy to access all of the parts. Overall, not bad at all. I would recommend it.

This articulating borescope from Nidage is a handy tool that will find most trades placing it in service for a myriad of reasons. Automotive and aviation mechanics will have obvious needs, but those in the construction trades can benefit from this tool as well. There have been countless times where I needed to assess a problem that would typically require tearing open a wall. Sometimes, the problem wasn't located in the immediate area where the issue manifested itself. For instance, a water leak might show up at a low spot in the floor, but the leaking pipe might be several feet away. In the old days, I had a smaller borescope that only had an eyepiece. The fiber-optic stalk was only about 18 inches long. I'd have to scrunch down to view problem areas through the handle eyepiece. It worked, but took a lot longer to assess situations. This borescope elevates the user experience one hundred-fold. Having a 3-1/2 foot long fiberoptic endoscope connected to a genuine color monitor takes all the hard work out of viewing inaccessible objects. A multi-level LED light source on the working end offers great illumination within enclosed spaces. Being able to fine tune the light level assists in controlling glare and reflection from viewed objects. The probe endoscope is water and oil proof, so using it in difficult conditions is less worrisome when using this expensive diagnostic tool. The articulating tip helps in navigating close quarters and helps snake the tool through obstructions within a wall or cylindrical space. I expect this tool to be a great assist when snaking electrical wires or greenfield through walls. Identifying potential routes for plumbing and conduit runs will be easy. Diagnosing internal engine problems and hard to reach appliance installations are some other possible uses I can see. The internal SD card allows for images to be saved for later viewing. The multi-function buttons offer fine tuning of resolution, increasing magnification and light levels. We are thrilled that this borescope operates so well. The included carry case will keep the delicate screen protected. The battery is charged with a standard USB C cable, though a power source is not included, so you will have to rely on one you already own. Other than that, this is the complete package.
