I never sit like a normal human is supposed to with both feet on the floor. I always have one leg tucked up, or sit cross-legged, or some other weird way. THIS CHAIR IS PERFECT. It's as close as you can get to having a sofa at your desk, and the ottoman allows even more weird sitting positions than I had previously imagined. I was worried that I'd stub my toe on the metal base, but so far I've escaped unscathed. If you're thinking about - just do it. It doesn't feel that sturdy sitting in it but it's comfy and I really enjoy sitting crossed legged. I've been wanting this for awhile and so glad I got it. Easy to assemble. Seems fairly stable. Not cheaply made but not well made. Kinda meet in the middle chair.

i tend to fidget a lot when i have to sit for long periods of time, but i also have to sit for long periods of time for both my job and school. this chair is GREAT it allows me to sit with my feet up, in crisscross, propped, or however. it is also a comfortable amount of plush that i do not feel "butt-sore" as fast. i personally do not usually need the pillow, but it is nice to have. my only issue with this chair is, because it does not have wheels, sometimes it is hard to move the chair into the most comfortable spot while i work. it is also heavier than my desk, so i often push my desk instead of the chair on accident, but that is a learning curve i will have to get used to. ... show more

I really, reallllly tried to like this chair, but now, after officially owning for an entire year, it's safe to say I hate it. I'm looking to buy another due to its constant squeak, hard to maneuver manner and uncomfortable backing. Here's more: Squeak - every time I move (even if I scratch or sneeze) this thing makes SO much noise. It's to the point where I'm constantly muted on Zoom calls and I'm trying my hardest not to move an inch when unmuted, or else, it squeaks. Loudly. Maneuvering - it's nearly impossible to inch the chair forward while sitting, especially on a rug. When you get up to move it, make sure the legs/feet of the chair are far from your toes. It hurts SO badly when it lands on one! Uncomfortable - to keep it simple, the back support is just not there. The pillow helps, but it feels extremely cheap. I personally love this chair. The color and fabric are great. It is comfortable and sturdy for me. I wouldn’t have a single complaint, but there is a major problem for my husband. He is around 240 lbs and if he sits in this chair the hydraulics slowly move the seat down to the lowest position. Not great as it’s suppose to be a desk chair for our shared work space and doesn’t work for the desk when it’s that low. ... show more
