Haven't had a chance to take on the water yet, though love it for first impressions. Learned about this engine via youtube (Luke McFadden), so far I’ve only ran it a 55 gallon drum. It starts up first pull, idles nice and quiet, and has excellent power, kicked all the water out of my barrel on 1/2 throttle. Excited to take it out on the water this year, I will try to get back and update my review on how it does. Considering a new 20hp outboard is around ~$3500 give or take, (in my area I should add).This is great for less than half the price of a new one. Only bad thing I noticed was inside of cowling plastic was cracked, though it’s shipped over seas so thats not a fault with the dealer or outboard itself. Huangjie 20 hp is a good engine. Trying to get a parts/numbers diagram to buy spare parts. This is about the same as a 15 - 20 hp Yamaha.
