Bought this "steel" building to house a large stationary compressor for our shop. Let me start by saying that it might as well be impossible to build without 1 or 2 extra people just holding flimsy pieces together while you fasten tiny screws through holes that absolutely DO NOT line up. I'm a mechanic for $250k+ machines that are difficult to work on but this thing is on another level of terrible. Any wind at all during install will have you scrambling to hold the sides up. instead of building the frame up then installing the paper thin "steel" walls, you build the walls up after putting together the base and have to depend on them to not fall over while you scramble to get the rest of the frame installed which you have to first put together. The "beams" are just thin sheet metal pieces that you bolt together. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for a nice metal shed, cause this isn't what you want. Luckily for me, this is for my company and not for my personal use or I would DEMAND a refund. $3K wasted for sure. Update: You'll definitely need 2-3 people as helpers. Pre Read the instructions because it's a "3 day" process. MOST IMPORTANTLY, just don't purchase this piece of trash shed. ... show more

I bought this shed back in January to replace a garage fire, it’s all the money I had to find some sort of replacement, now that the snow is gone and I have a nice weekend to put up the new shed, I find that not a single piece is labeled, some are number stamped and hard to read, pieces are missing and I have a hunch that some of it may be the wrong size( instructions are generic for different size sheds) I am so extremely disappointed!!!!!! ... show more

I'd love for the designer or the maker of this bozo ass shed to go back to the drawing board and actually take the time and the inputs of the consumers to create a more sturdier, descriptive manual and actually provide more access to customer service for help on installation. I bought this shed/garage brand new...arrived delivery in several boxed cartons. No issues with delivery. Let me preface my review. I've built cars, dismantled a sailboat engine and put them back together, erected building etc. all with good manuals/instructions. Even when the manual suck, what do we do today? We go to You Tube, right? If you go to You Tube, you will not find one single video that shows you a step-by-step assembly of this shed. If you do, it will be a smaller one, or a time lapse that basically show start and finish with a lot left out. I will say this and make this review really short: This is the worst product I've ever bought/owned!!! In addition, customer service/support leave a lot to be desired too!!! There is only one person at Sheter Logic who has a clue...Lisa (because apparently she has been there 10+ years). The upside Lisa is very knowledgeable, the downside, she seems overworked, very impatient and short with her attitude/responses. This company makes 4 or 5 sized units, they use they same assembly manual for all 4 or 5 of their units with applicable notes to follow for your size. If you miss a step, good luck. So I opened my boxes, and it is nearly impossible/impractical to inspect that every single piece needed is included. In my case, it wasn't. I was missing a critical piece which is part of the front support structure. I did not realize that until I got to that point in the assembly. I called Shelter Logic, they supposedly placed the order. It took in excess of 5 weeks to receive the part. In the interim, my shed collapsed (see photos). If you look closely, I had several ladders bracing the structure and it still fell. What is amazing, I think it would have fell even if it was completed. The structure is horrible at best, and very flimsy...even after most of the assembly. Needless to say, I plan to scrap this junk and I would advise potential buyers to research this product thoroughly before purchasing it. Go online and just read the assembly manual and if that doesn't give you a headache, then go for it. In my opinion, I'd steer clear and/or run like the wind away from this product.
