  • Decent Basic Bidet attachment for your toilet
Color: Bidet Attachment
I have never understood why the U.S. doesn't embrace the idea of bidets, but I like the better hygene of using one. In the past I've settled for a portable one (basically a squirt bottle with wand) and decided to give this a try. Overall, I like the unit. It was relatively easy to install, only having to remove the toilet seat and insert a T into the incoming water line. The mounting plate is relatively thin for a plastic mount so it doesn't interfere with the existing toilet seat. The control arm sits at a location that is easy to control for the average person "sitting on the throne". It works reasonably well and I like that there is a pressure adjusting dial. I find that the lower 4 or 5 "clicks" (lower half of adjustment) of the pressure dial don't provide much pressure, but our house as line pressure regulated at 50psi, so if you have an older house that is unregulated, the lower settings may be of more use. The upper settings work just fine and give good control of pressure in our situation. It has two nozzles, one that is aimed more forward of the other, supposedly for female use. Initially when I installed it, following the instructions, I found the jets were aimed a bit too far back and the more forward one was the better placement for me. I have since moved the unit a bit more forward in the toilet (but still sitting below the back of the seat) so the aim is better. I do wish there was a way to adjust (tilt) the jets, but overall it works fine. Installation wise, it isn't the most aesthetically pleasing where it bolts to the toilet seat...but I guess I'm more interested in function than looks. The control arm looks good and provides a fair amount of control over the unit. There is one button for each of the sprays and one to turn it off. If you hold the off button, it provides a cleaning/flushing function. The dial does go go from very low pressure to full house pressure. Generally, for the price, it works well. Pros: -Two nozzles so you can somewhat choose where it aims. -Pressure dial adjusts for your comfort. -Has a nozzle cleaning/flushing function and nozzles retract when not on. -Reasonably easy to install, just bolt on and connect the T to the tank water supply line. Cons: -By default, it aims a bit far back if you follow the instructions. -Water can be cold if you live in a colder climate. -Mounting plate is large and sticks out from under the toilet seat. Overall, I like the unit. I do wish it had some way to warm the water a bit (maybe a bit of hose coiled in the arm to pick up room temperature?)...in the winter it can be a bit too cool, but not as bad as I had feared. It seems reasonably well constructed and the controls seem to work well. Adjustable and definitely enough pressure in my house to get the job done. If you have ever wanted to try one of these without breaking the bank, this is a solid choice. ... show more

  • Works GREAT! Works with PEX manifold plumbing systems
The media could not be loaded. After I ordered this, I got to thinking that maybe this wasn't going to hook up to my water supply, because I don't have a shutoff valve under my toilet, my house uses a PEX manifold system where there is a central panel with a separate valve for each fixture, there are no separate shutoff valves near the fixtures. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that it came with a fitting for the tank end, and this fitting works perfectly fine with my PEX manifold system! It installed very quickly, all I needed was a screwdriver and a crescent wrench. I installed it in the morning while my wife was at work, and tried it out, I found it to function as expected and it was not uncomfortable at all. We live in Florida and have a well with a tank exposed to the sunlight, so our 'cold' water is never really all that cold. Well, I carried on with my day, and forgot all about it, until my wife got home from work, and as usual ran straight to the bathroom after the hour-long drive home from work, and she immediately reminded me of it with, "What the heck is this??" I indeed didn't tell her I was getting it, or that I was installing it. So, I gave her a quick explanation of how bidets are more environmentally friendly they are and how they are more economical as well, besides just working better than toilet paper, and she was not impressed to say the least, she said, I'm not using that, you can forget that happening! I just let it go and said it was just something I wanted to try, and that she didn't need to use it. The next morning, she got up a bit before I did, and I guess she got curious, and after breakfast she said, "I changed my mind, I like that bidet you got!" She mentioned it a few times and said she couldn't believe she liked it so much. So, it works very well and has some nice features. I like how the sprayers descend when you activate them, and also have a self-cleaning function. It also detaches easily without removing the toilet seat to make cleaning easier, but I wish it had a quick disconnect for the hose so you could remove it entirely without shutting off the water supply or having a wrench. ... show more

  • Inexpensive Bidet attachment that works!!
What’s not to like?? The install was very easy, just need a screwdriver, a wrench. Installing the bidet to the toilet was simple, just unscrew the toilet seat, put the bracket underneath and rescrew the toilet seat, then you Need to shut off the water at the valve, unhook the line, and additional t adapter, install the braided line to the bidet, and voila, you have a full functional bidet that works!! I’d say, takes 15-20 minutes to install, and provided there are no leaks, make sure you sit on the toilet bowl, press one of the buttons, and you’ll feel the water clean away!! Just remember to use a low setting, and while you’re seated down make sure to increase the pressure, and when your done press the off button. I am so impressed. I highly recommend this product! ... show more

  • Easy to Install
It’s just what I was looking for. It was easy to assemble. It’s nice that you don’t need to plug it in or use batteries for it to work like some others. It comes with instructions on how to use it but it’s pretty self explanatory. There are little icons showing you what each button does. We definitely have lessened the consumption of toilet paper since getting this. ... show more
