This is one great watch. Because of its low price, I thought it might be cheap or silly looking, but I figured at this price, I'd try it. It's neither. I own a couple of dozen watches, including some close to high-end watches. This is now one of my favorite watches. It's comfortable to wear due to its light weight and velcro strap. With other watchbands you have only limited adjustments. I always find one hole too tight and the next one too loose. With this watch band, it's infinitely adjustable so it fits perfectly. And, unlike a lot of my watches, it's not only not heavy, it's positively lightweight. I barely even know its there. Compare that with some enormous watches that feel like tuna fish cans strapped to my wrist. I often wear watches that are 40mm wide or more, but this is one step smaller than that, and I'd forgotten how much more pleasant it is to wear a medium-sized watch. The dial is completely legible even at a moderate angle (not an extreme angle, though, since it's digital). It shows the time, the day of the week, and the date. Plus the seconds. Adjustment requires using the little booklet that came with it, but I think I almost have it memorized by now. It's similar to a Casio but a little more streamlined and just a little less "tech-y" looking. It looks rugged and purposeful, not silly at all. Some of my Casios make me look like a computer science major, and I definitely don't want that. It also has a light if you need it -- and maybe some other things I haven't discovered yet. And the price! Holy smokes! Where can you get a great watch that works well and is this lightweight and comfortable for this low a price? Not often. If you need a good, solid, reliable, comfortable, and good-looking watch, here it is. ... show more

I bought this watch to use on a wilderness camping trip. I didn't want to take my fitness watch and attempt to keep it charged. This watch worked fine for what I wanted from it! My only complaint was that I have quite small wrists, and I ended up needing to put a thick rubber band around the end of the strap to keep it snug. The velcro ran out before the end of the stramp and I had a tab that stuck out and would get caught on things that would end up attempting to peel the watch off. With the rubber band I had no issues at all. I never immersed it in water but it certainly got splashed several times with no complaint. ... show more

This is going to be a favorite watch of mine. Almost want to buy a second to make sure I always have this watch. Time is easy to set. The indiglow is easy to find in a dark setting to see what time it is. This watch wont disappoint

I like this watch. It’s inexpensive and most of all it’s more compact and doesn’t get caught or hit things. I bought it because the I can’t let metal prolonged touch me or I’ll get a serious rash and this has the band that protects that for me. I’m very happy with it. It’s funny, the watch arrived with the correct time and date, down to the minute! AND…it was set on 24 hour time like I prefer. It was like it was specifically set up for me somehow. Have had several Armitron watches over the years, usually bought from a local big box store that closed its location, so found the exact kind here. Decided to purchase a different color than previous ones…..the Army green. So far very happy with it. Looks real nice. Good price.

I work outside a lot, and I needed something comfortable, easy to read, dependable, but IF something were to happen to it, cheap enough that it would not be a major loss. The display clearly shows the most important thing I need first, the day of the week, then right beside that, the date, and right below those two things is the time. Just a quick glance and I have the information I needed without having to squint, strain my eyes or push a button. Additionally, the band is very comfortable and is made of a material that does not irritate my skin, even when I am working in the hot sun with power tools all day. Very pleased! ... show more
