  • Great tires!
All four tires arrived in good timing and excellent condition. Had to youtube a few times for different DIY bead seating techniques. I used one method for the rears (the bucket method) and another method for the fronts (combustible brake fluid method), but once they were installed, the mower sat higher and drove like a new machine (the former tires were way past retirement). Well worth the time & money. ... show more

  • Good Stuff
It's the second set I've ordered and it shows up on time or early. I like that they are 4ply rated and work well.

  • Turned out good
Was confusing at first. Was shipped in to different days and 4 boxes, but it was all good

  • Overall it is a great deal, but...
Tires came quickly. Installed them myself using real tire spoons, liberal amounts of Dawn soap, and seating the bead using the 5 gallon bucket method. One tire leaks. Dead flat overnight. At first I thought it was just he bead not being properly seated, but a dunk in the bathtub showed the leak was in the sidewall just below the tread. I just placed an inner tube in that wheel. Would I buy these again? Most definitely. It is a great value for the DIY person. TIP: As soon as you receive the tires, unwrap them, letting them sit and relax for a day or two, so the tire beads and sidewalls return to their normal contours. Use wooden blocks to help it along if needed. ... show more

  • Traction
They look great and had great traction especially on a steep hill mostly soft dirt on side of the house .

  • For Toro LX420 riding lawnmower
Purchase for Toro LX420 riding lawnmower. Got installed from discount tires for $80. All good. Old tires gave about 16 years of service. Expecting same from these. No issues so far

  • Exactly what I needed
Freaking great tires! But I highly recommend just taking wheels off and having a tire place mount them for a small fee, because let me tell you, my wife and I spent over a hr taking one off and mounting one. If we did all 4 , we would be divorced. Trust me. Take to the pros. It still took 3 guys on each tire. ( not tires fault ) small tires are absolutely nightmare. ... show more

  • Get ready for fun!
Boy, nothing is better than beating the old tires off the your lawn tractor. It is next to impossible to break the old bead on the small tires. I got one done before I took them to a place with a tire machine to break off the beads from the rims. With that done, these spooned right on saving me HOURS of frustration. The rear tires needed a strap and a bead blaster to get them to seat, the fronts popped right on without an issue. Save yourself the hassle... bring them to a tire place ... show more
