This product is great for big families. The size for the $ is what you would expect, I subscribe to the 144.5 oz container to be delivered every other month. Not only does subscribing give me a better deal and I don't have to think about running out and making time to go to the store. This size is the perfect amount for my family of 6. Arm and Hammers laundry detergent does a great job on tough to clean clothes; like sports uniforms and work clothes. It is what I consider sensitive, it's gentle enough to use on towels, younger kids clothes and even those who have mild sensitivities to additives/laundry detergent in general. In our family we have all types and this serves all of our needs. The Clean burst scent is there but not overwhelming, it's a water scent not a baby powder scent. I ordered this because it was cheaper than what I could get at Walmart, while still being a known brand. The smell isn’t too prominent, which I prefer as I don’t like heavily perfumed clothes. Cleans very well and the bottle lasted a good 4 weeks in a household where we wash laundry at least every other day. I have sensitive skin and it causes no issues for me. This lifelong Tide laundry soap user was trying to save a few bucks, and ordered the Arm & Hammer instead.. Wow! What a neat surpris Soap (to me) smells good -- nothing overpowering, just a kind of simple clean scent. I don't know about the "sensitive skin" category, so gave it a 4, just in case someone's skin is super sensitive. Some cheaper soaps make my skin itch; this didn't. Here's the thing: you get a huge amount for a budget-friendly price (or at least my order produced a whoppinglly big bottle- much larger than my usual Tide. My towels came out fluffy and bright white, and I am very impressed with the scent on clothes out of dryer. You just know I'll be buying A&H from now on -- saved about five bucks on the generously sized (107 oz.) bottle. Whoppee. ... show more

This isn't the best laundry detergent I've ever used, but it's good enough for regular loads of laundry. It doesn't remove all of the odors from gym clothes, so I add an odor-removing booster when I wash those. It rinses well, and the scent isn't too strong. It doesnt strip color from clothes and it isn't too harsh for delicates. This detergent is less costly than most name brand detergents, so it's a really good value if you have lots of loads of laundry. ... show more

This is a great detergent.. it has a fresh not floral scent so it's ok for tough guys.. it works fantastically in cold water washes....was especially impressed in the summer heat clothes still came out fresh and clean.. the bottle is 3X the amount of other detergents and still costs about the same as smaller bottle of other brand detergents.. a great bargain 👌 ... show more

I am very very picky with scents. After washing my cloths are clean and they and there is not a strong odor. I recently tried tied laundry pods and hated how my closed smelled. I will be switching back to this as soon as I can.
