  • CAN I COUNT ON THIS CANOPY & SELLER?…YES!!!
ARLOPU Pop Up Gazebo Tent has caused me a great deal of anxiety. My wife and I had a fairly easy job of putting it together. We secured it with screws to our wood deck and applied bungee cords. The material and design seemed impressive; we liked its look. A day later, while sitting under it I noticed a very small tear in the canopy fabric. Then, I saw 3 more similar tears. Each tear corresponded to where a Velcro strip attached to the fabric was wrapped around a metal rod. Clearly, it’s a stress point. There is no description by the Seller about what type of winds the canopy can handle. The shipping box noted that it not be used in “strong winds.” Other competitors’ advertising are more specific about maximum wind levels. This canopy apparently wasn’t able to hold up to a moderate wind. Yes, the Seller should be more specific! So, we decided to proceed with the Return for Refund process. At that point, I was told that I was responsible for the cost of return shipping (probably $40 or more). I’d never had to pay for return shipping before! The Seller failed to make any reference to this exception, although required to by Amazon. Frustrated, we decided that the fairest option was to request a free replacement of the canopy fabric (not the heavy metal frame). We figure that it’s possible that we were unlucky enough to get a defective fabric and, are willing to accept a replacement. I’d be most happy to write a positive follow-up review in the event that the Seller agrees (and, that the replacement performs better). As of now, my efforts to contact the Seller through an Amazon assistant have been fruitless. Either pay for the return shipping (as per policy), or ship a replacement canopy fabric, please! Why would any of you take a chance on an expensive product unless the Seller is willing to stand behind it? UPDATE: I have been in communication with the Seller, who has been courteous and informative, to help resolve my perceived issues with this canopy. Bottom line: the “tears” in the canopy fabric were not holes. Rather, a sliver of the thin film that is added to the fabric to help waterproof it had peeled a bit, creating that impression. The canopy was still waterproof after it subsequently rained. I then applied a thin strip of waterproof tape to the underside and top of the 4 perceived slits. After several days of heavy rain, the underside of the canopy fabric remained dry! Yes, rain can enter from the side curtains when wind-blown, through the tiny grommet holes (that enable rain to not accumulate/weigh down the canopy), and, also through the mesh material between the canopy and its top dome (as with this typical design). But, the underside fabric remained dry. I must also address the issue of wind. Unfortunately, there is no indication about what wind force the canopy can handle; the delivery box says to avoid “strong wind,” whatever that is. A Beaufort Scale exists to inform us; some canopies are advertised as scale 4 (up to 18mph). I saw a couple that claim scale 8 (up to 38mph); they cost at least $100 more. When I secured this canopy, the 4 legs were screwed into a wood deck, with many bungee cords attached to the legs and canopy fabric. It is possible that the film was slightly peeled from the canopy fabric stress points because of wind gusts of at least 35mph. Since applying the tape and re-installing the canopy, it has been subjected to wind gusts of over 30mph. The canopy and all of its parts have withstood these winds! I don’t suggest that the canopy can repeatedly withstand 30-40mph winds. In the event of predicted ongoing winds of over 30mph, I have 2 choices. Either lower the canopy, or (my idea) place a large, heavy tarp with grommets over the canopy and secure it with more bungee cords. I did that before going away on a vacation. A perfect solution, for me. So, my 2 star rating is now a 5 star rating. The seller gave me the option of a free return (no shipping fee) or a sweetener in my final cost. I chose the latter. The canopy material is higher rated than most others and it performs better than any of my prior canopies. It’s a great deal (especially when on sale)! ... show more

  • Finally a screen tent that works!
Color: Gray Size: 11FT×11FT
This is the third screen tent we have ordered all from Amazon. The first was lost in a wind storm. The second was missing parts and support frame pieces were broken and was sent back for a refund. the third was ordered from another vendor and it had to be sent back because of broken frame. Reorderd another from Amazon for less money which is this one. Framing is heavier and tent was easier to set up. ... show more

  • Gorgeous gazebo canopy that is easy to set up and stands up against the weather!
Color: Gray Size: 11FT×11FT
Okay, I’ve got to say that I’m seriously impressed with this gazebo tent. I wasn't sure what to expect, but setting it up was a breeze. I did it pretty much solo with minimal effort (and no cursing involved, which is saying something!). It really does just pop up like they say! Once it was up, I was honestly surprised at how nice it looked. It’s got that clean, elegant vibe that instantly made my backyard look way more put-together. It kinda feels like I’ve upgraded to “fancy outdoor hangout” status even though I don't have a fancy deck or patio! This was the affordable option for me and I certainly don't regret it! But the real test? The wind and rain. We had a storm roll through a few days after I set it up, and this thing held its ground like a champ. No flapping, no flying away, and no leaks. I sat under it with a coffee just watching the rain, totally dry! I'm giving this one a full five stars, a total 10/10. I would definitely recommend this canopy if you want something that’s easy to set up, actually stays put, and makes your backyard look like you know what you’re doing! ... show more

  • Keeps Mosquitos Away
Color: Gray Size: 11FT×11FT
I live on the water which means I have lots of mosquitos and very other kind of flying insert there is. I have a deck but it's not enclosed. I typically spray the yard and put mosquito things down all around before I have a cookout or big event. However, I never just enjoy my backyard bacause I don't want to deal with the bugs. This has truly solved the problem. It let me enjoy a bit of outside time but keeps the bugs ways. If the bugs aren't bothering me or I just want a more open feel I can pull the side back. I absolutely love it! ... show more

  • Stunning gazebo, easy to setup
Color: Gray Size: 11FT×11FT
This is a popup outdoor Gazebo/Canopy. I got it for my mom’s deck as it gets quite hot during the warmer months. This gazebo was easy to set up and it’s stunning. I’m quite impressed with it. It came with everything shown, except for the furniture obviously. The size was perfect (13x13) and provides great shade and a much cooler spot to sit in. It includes netting that keeps bugs out but allows a lovely cross breeze to flow through. My mom absolutely loves it. ... show more

  • This is a good gazebo tent for the money and I do recommend it.
Color: Gray Size: 11FT×11FT
If you're a person who is reliably terrified of any new setup process, I think you'll be pleasantly relieved by the general ease of setting up this canopy. Initially when you pull items out of their bags, attaching the small canopy top, then the larger one, isn't immediately very clear. The diagrams miss steps (e.g. which parts of the canopy cloth go under which parts of the frame; the pictures are blurry sketches). Once those are secured to the frame, you'll have to get under the frame on your back (on the ground) to push it up. But from that point it's pretty straightforward and it's a nice canopy! The directions recommend taking it down in extreme weather and you definitely can (it has a really nice rolling carry bag) but it does take time for setup. Overall, I think this is a good gazebo tent for the money. ... show more
