I was trying to find a composite material blind to minimize the light and bolster the insulation of a coastal home on the water. I didn’t want to pay $300+ a window and couldn’t wait weeks to install the blinds after moving in. I was worried my other half, who is not handy at all, would not be able to install the blinds. I was skeptical at the price point. $112 for a large faux wood blind, seemed relatively cheap. They arrived and I was shocked at the quality and detail. The y arrived faster than expected, the measurements were on point, and they were easy to install. They looked as good if not better than custom blinds I had installed at another house. These blinds are going to be durable and will definitely last a long time! They are such a great quality of material and the valnces make them look incredibly custom and finished. I ordered them for seven windows and a door. The door blind was $79! The seller also appears to be a reputable entity, which is rare these days. I will recommend that if you plan to mount them inside the windows, measure your windows and subtract at least a half inch from the width to ensure the brackets fit and the shade will pull down without issue. Great replacement for my prior faux wood blinds that lasted 20 years! Install was super quick and easy. I love the quality, the look and no more draw string. I really appreciate having so many choices on the size. I needed 25 x 60 which is impossible to find at Lowe’s or Home Depot so the only option they give you is to buy wider blinds and have them cut. Unfortunately the machine that cuts them has been “broken” at both stores near me for the past few years. Glad I gave up on that and ordered them here instead. Very satisfied with the product coming from the company, ARLO. I ordered three blinds, two of the same, and one large set of blinds for the kitchen. I am the type that likes to do the homework, watch YouTube videos, DIY videos, search reviews, Reddit advice, spend half the day reading different forums and articles before I pull the trigger on what to invest in, since everything is pricier. I was initially skeptical, thinking I should be shopping at Lowe's or Home Depot. I did price comparisons and learned it was safer to order through Amazon (~$100 difference), as there were more companies specializing in blinds on Amazon, and the local blinds companies where I live didn't seem all that promising according to their customer reviews. The prices were lower on Amazon, and the quality was surprising. They give you a variety of sizes to choose from, depending on the width of your window, whether you are installing inside mount, outside mount, or even ceiling mount. It seemed the return process through Amazon is easier than Lowe's return policy; Lowe's has limited sizes, and if they were to cut the blinds to your specific width, you cannot return the blinds under any circumstances. The instructions were not that well written from ARLO, and the font size or lettering was a bit obscured to read on their small piece of paper, but I figured it out through common sense. The installation was not complicated; it saved me more money installing it myself versus calling a company to schedule and let a stranger in the house, since my hours at work are hectic and sometimes unpredictable. It is difficult to install yourself if you are installing a large-width set of blinds (70" wide), but possible. The smaller width blinds were a lot easier to install, and the second window was a better outcome than the first small window since I learned a better technique of how to install it without taking as long due to repetition. The only issue I found with one of the blinds was that I noticed a small plastic piece broken in the top frame box, probably from shipping and handling, which has the guts of how the blinds operate. It was not a big deal since it did not affect the functionality of the blinds. The valence blind clip was actually of great material and not too difficult to install. I would recommend buying blinds through Amazon, or at least 2" faux wood-type blinds. I am content with my purchase. I hope this review helps others make a decision. ... show more

This product is amazing. Much better quality than I expected for the price and it was the perfect fit for our doors. I love how it also came with the accessories to put on the top and everything listed. Blocks light as it should, the color is even and very easy to put up.

I am really impressed with the overall quality of these Arlo Faux Wood Blinds. Once they are up, they look fantastic. The white color is clean and crisp, and the crown valance gives them a beautiful, high-end finished look. The blinds themselves are incredibly sturdy and feel like they will hold up well to daily use. The cordless mechanism is smooth and safe, which is exactly what I was looking for in my home windows. My only complaint is with the plastic clips provided to attach the valance to the blinds. They are very, very cheaply made compared to the rest of the product, and unfortunately, one of them broke during the installation process. I had to get a bit creative to secure that side of the valance. Despite the fragile clips, the actual blinds are excellent quality for the price. I would absolutely purchase this item again—just be extra gentle when snapping the valance into place! Sturdy clips and I would have rated 4.5. ... show more
