The packaging it came in was ripped and battered so the tool box only having one dent was a nice surprise. I put this on the front of my SXS trailer and fully expect it to get more dents so the supplied dent was no big deal. It did keep rain out but not dust and road grime so I put some weather stripping on the top edge for the lid to seal to and that helped greatly. I thought I had unlocked it but actually locked it and without much effort I broke the lock so that sucked, I bought what looked like a good one to replace it with but had to modify it because in my haste I didn’t measure the length but it’s working for now and if it breaks again it will just get a hasp and padlock. It’s not a weather-guard by any means and it’s not priced like one either. I bought it to hold a jack and some straps and it does that job just fine and it does look nice. ... show more

Its a nice well built box. The aluminum is a little thin, but it seems sturdy. I do plan on lining the inside with 1/2 inch plywood. I mainly wanted a secure place to put deep cycle battery to run the tongue power jack and a few tools. I didn't want to spend $300 to $400 on a heavy box. When I bought the box, I saw the measurements and I should have taken the time to be sure it would fit the way I thought it would on my trailer. It was bigger than I thought it would be.
