The only reason I took a star off for sturdiness is for us heftier people. I weigh about 340 lbs and don't have an issue using it. To the touch the steps feel a little cheap, but they've held my pretty behind more than once, so I think it's good. :) It easily folds up and can be stored behind something or in the garage without taking up much space. This is a pretty solid stepladder. It’s nice and tall, but folds very narrow and is easy to store. My only complaint is the first and second step don’t have any support and bend a little when you step on it. I’m 170 lbs and it’s a slight bend, but enough that I’m a little worried about the integrity over time. For the price I would expect a little better support on those two steps. I needed a small ladder for around the house since the step stool doesn't cut it. This has all the height I need to reach my top cabinets, light enough to carry around the house and nice and sturdy to stand on. Folds up easy and doesn't take up a lot of space when folded. I ordered this folding step ladder because I didn’t want to have to haul a big ladder from the garage every time I needed to change a light bulb. I am 5’6” tall and with my 8’ ceilings I can comfortably stand straight on the second rung but I have to tilt my head on the top rung. Which I found useful when trying to line up the screw on the pictured light cover. The ladder folds fairly flat for easy storage and transport. I especially appreciate the top rail because it helps me climb and stay in tune with my position when on the ladder. The foam cushion on the handle is a little off center but that does not affect the performance in any way. The back feet have rubber covers to keep the ladder from sliding. The only downside is that, so far, the ladder is quite stiff when unfolding. Once you get it started, it smoothly clicks into place. I recommend and have already used it several times in the first weekend. I think this is going to be one of those items that I didn’t know I needed until I had it! Already proving to be handy to have in the house and much easier to carry than a standard ladder or even a chair. ... show more
