The Unsung Heroes of Winter
When Minnesota’s winter vortexes bear down, and the snowdrifts rise like frozen battlements, it’s not just any tool that can face such an onslaught—it’s the Ariens Drift Cutters that turn the tide. These steel-fortified champions are the unsung heroes, designed for those who dare to confront the impossible depths of snow piled high by the fiercest storms. Mounted proudly on my snow blower, the Ariens Drift Cutters slice through towering drifts with precision and power, transforming a daunting wall of snow into manageable layers. Without them, even the mightiest snow blower would struggle, but with these sharp, unyielding blades leading the charge, nothing stands in their way. Drift after drift falls to their relentless cut, cleaving through nature’s barriers like a sword through silk. One frigid morning, after a night of ceaseless snow and wind, the drifts outside had grown to mythic proportions—taller than fences, blocking doors, and daring anyone to attempt passage. Yet, with a swift adjustment of the adjustable height cutters, I took to the drifts like a conqueror. The snow stood no chance as the hardened steel blades effortlessly broke through the heaviest, packed snow, clearing the way for my Ariens snow blower to work its magic. These drift cutters aren’t just accessories; they are essential for those of us battling the relentless Minnesota winters. They take what would be a Herculean task and turn it into just another day, reducing even the most overwhelming snowfalls to mere remnants of their former selves. When the rest of the neighborhood is buried and immobilized, I stride forward, with the Ariens Drift Cutters parting the way, leaving a path of victory in their wake. Through every bitter storm, these cutters have proven their mettle. They’ve seen me through the harshest winters, and I know, as long as they’re mounted on my snow blower, no drift will ever stand in my way again.

Drift Cutters really do work
We had a 30 inch snow fall and these devices worked extremely well! Great invention and great accessory. Truly, a very functional product when you get into drifts / deep snow. A plus, they can be adjusted ( re-mounted) on your blower and lowered when not needed stored out of the way). If you have harsh winters you need a pair of these devices.

Installed easily. Fits
Installed easily. Fits. Nice that it folds away when I do not need it or I am storing the machine. A good place to apply reflective tape to alert the speeding driver that i am in the road. SLOW DOWN!

Adequate, but...
Got these for my Ariens blower. Expensive for 2 strips of stamped steel and a few bolts. It doesn't really work well for my RapidTrak 28, but that's mostly because the proper mounting holes aren't on the 28. This set claims it will work, and I guess in some way it will. You can mount it. It doesn't really orient well. But, will probably work.

Fit perfectly and looks like they will get the job done
These fit my snow blower perfectly and appear to be very sturdy and well made. We'll see how well they work come winter, but I'm expecting good things.
