The Ariat's U-Turn Entry System has a hidden flexible gore panel at the shaft back to get the feet past the turn with the utmost ease. This wide square toe boot is manufactured with a composite safety toe that weighs less than its steel toe counterparts. It is ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH rated to keep your feet safe. ATS Max technology aids in lessening foot fatigue and provide additional stability with stabilizers for the heel and the forefoot. EVA cushioning in the midsole provides lightweight shock absorption for added comfort. These western boots for men boast Waterproof PRO construction to provide excellent waterproofing capabilities. I had a pair of these boots for over 2 years. They were great and super comfortable. I recently purchased a pair on Amazon and the first week or so was fine but now we're over a month in and my feet are destroyed. I'm getting new blisters and my feet are just worn out at the end of the day. I'm hoping it's just apart of the "break-in" but we'll see. ... show more

This is my 2nd pair of Ariat work boots. My job provided the first pair. These are a very durable and tough pair of boots but they are very comfortable. I wear these boots all day long and my feet don't hurt when I take them off. The sole provides good traction in different conditions. Ankle support is good. The waterproof element is great. Immediately upon unboxing the first thing that popped at me were two large scuffs on each boot. I plan to use these for work and the scuffs don't actually effect the boot in any way as they're just surface discolorations but it is kind of disheartening to receive a damaged product when you expect something new, especially when it's so obvious it makes you wonder how the person packing it didn't notice. If these had been a purchase for outings instead of work I would immediately return these. However given the nature of my job they will undoubtedly be scuffed and damaged over time and considering my old boots have a large rip in the toe I don't think it's worth the time or hassle to send them back, I'm just writing this review for others because who knows what you may get if they're okay with sending out products like this? The next pair may have worse damage than just a scuff. With all that said they fit as expected, are comfortable and seem sturdy enough, I just wish the boot shop had these in my size when I was there so I didn't have to order online and receive a poorly quality checked product. Buy at your own risk. (edit) Wore the boots for 1 hour out to a restaurant and when I got home I noticed the rubber on the toe split. I already threw away the box but this is unacceptable, going to contact amazon and try to get a replacement or refund. ... show more
