Fits as expected, lighter than most of my other boots in spite of the steel toe. I have wide feet and these are comfortable to walk around in, do chores out in my pasture, chop firewood, etc. I spent all afternoon power washing a walkway and screened porch and have walked through a muddy pasture several times...totally waterproof, didn't get a drop on my socks. I don't know why some of the reviews are so bad for these boots. I ordered a 13 wide. Fit perfect. I did add a nice work insole on top of the ones tht came with the boots, but they were decent even without the added work insoles, but I have to have all the extra cushioning and such due to feet probs, so no matter what boots or casual shoes I own, I add new nice insoles to whatever comes in the shoes I buy. The duribility I can already tell is GREAT. I work construction, we do ALLL types of work. Right now we are doing demolition on a old 3 story brick building from the 1940s to turn it into modern apartments and they are gonna last me a while I can already tell. The leather and just all around quality is great. My first pair of ariat boots. So glad I went with them. All my buddy's rant and rave about how good of boots they make, tho they all wear slip ones, so I decided to try a pair instead of my old brand , which were timberland pros. Which is a nice boot, but I like these a lot better. I like lace up work boots and couldn't be happier with these. I love the steel toe protector on the boots, on my timbos I used to buy , I would have to add toe protectors that used a type of epoxy to put on, and they worked fine, but these are so much better and look stylish. Stings are fine, tho I will prob add some quality leather strings eventually. These aren't rated as waterPROOF, but they def keep my feet dry long as u ain't trying to walk thru deep mudholes or a creek or something. Just rain and mud they keep my feet dry. Il prob stick with ariat from now on. Next time I need a new pair il prob get slightly more expensive ones next time, now I know they make great quality boots. If they last me a year or more I will be very happy. Again I do work tht destroys any show or boot u wear quickly. So if I get a year or more out of them, then I will be very satisfied. If ur on the fence , just buy them. U can always send back after wearing them for a day or so and dnt like them, but I'd bet you will keep them. I don't get the neg reviews on these. Like I said my friends and work buddies and other ppl on job sites always talk VERY highly of ariat. Glad I went with them. VERY nice lace up work boots for the $. ... show more

This is my 3rd pair of this exact boot. The first pair lasted a year. Second pair lasted 14 months. Why wouldn’t I keep buying them? Comfort, water proof, never slip on my landoll trailer with water, mud and/or oil on the deck from heavy machines. Will be back for another pair in a year.

First off my feet are slightly over pronated so I need (some) arch support, these (kinda) offer that, so my feet are alright w how they feel. Second, I do tower maintenance, worn these the last 2 months, lot of climbing ladders and standing on bars and beams, spent many 12 hour shifts in em. (Don’t mind the paint, not taking that into account for this review) Overall I'd give em a 6/10. They aren't built for that line of work so maybe they'd be better for standard construction, or work around the house. OR maybe they'd be worse, cuz I'm not actually on my feet all day, lot of sitting in a harness so my full body weight isn’t put into the boots. Days I don't climb and am on the ground my feet aren't as happy with them. Make of that what you will. Not a bad boot for their price. Relatively comfortable. There’s definitely better options out there tho. Gonna keep wearing them till I find something better 👍 ... show more

These are easily the worst boots I've ever purchased as far as quality. If you do real work, especially outside, do not buy these boots. Spend the money and buy a better quality boot. Soles are paper thin, leather and seams are cheap, not even remotely water resistant... These boots lasted about 2 months before they were unusable. ... show more

I've had these boots for less than a month and the waterproof is gone. Theboots are light and comfy but I will never buy again. Having wet feet on a 12 hour shift is a deal-breaker
