I really like this set as a beginner with polymer clay. I was doubtful about purchasing as another review said the acrylic plate looked used and didn't have the cover you peel off but i took the risk. Turns out that the plate has two covers you need to take off. It appears as if it doesn't have them but i took my pin pen and gently poked in the corner to lift. The black plastic tools feel pretty hollow and im afraid to apply pressure on them. The other tools are fine, the tips do become a bit loose but easily fixable with some hot glue.

The media could not be loaded. When I opened the pouch the tools came in, the first thing I noticed was that the acrylic slab was scratched & dented in multiple places. I went to the reference picture & it shows someone pulling off a protective top adhesive which is not how mine came. The second thing I noticed was that the clay tools came in three different packaging bags. All of this makes me believe I received used items. I got into making clay earrings from watching it on instagram. I ordered this set and it works great. I’ve never really used the black ones but I use everything else all the time and they work great! Great price and great value.

I love these tools. I’ve always needed ball points like these, that come in different shapes. Only complaint is about the black tools and the square tablet. The black tools feel cheap and could snap easy. The square had scratches and bubbles. The first order I got, one of the black tools were snapped and the square was damaged, so I got a replacement. The second order, the square was still somewhat scratched up. Not a big deal though ... show more

I thought it was too good to be true, and I am dependent on these tools! It’s my very first polymer clay modeling set, and now my favorite! While I don’t really use the plastic black flimsy ones, and consider them a “complimentary” set, all others are AMAZING and so useful. Great quality, as a matter of fact, (sans the black set- those are truly for beginners and you’ll see why, but I love that! I do use one of them, at least til I can upgrade). I use all others for my polymer clay jewelry and figurines. The blue ones are fantastic for detailing, smoothing, and shaping.
