This is my second time purchasing these boots the first time i bought straight from ariat. After wearing the boots for nearly a year, i walk through a set of insoles and almost the tread. The back of the boot where the leather meets the synthetic material gave out and tore on my first pair. I decided to order the same pair because of the comfortable feel of the boots and they were reliable. Its worth noting 98% of my job is walking. I work 8 hour shifts and some times walk miles in a night at work. I highly recommend these boots.

This is my out of the box review and I will try to update after a couple months. For context I am an aircraft mechanic so I spend my days outside on my feet walking on concrete and need a tough steel toe boot. There weren’t a whole lot of detailed reviews on this boot so I took a chance and right out of the box they look great. The padding on the inside is quite thick so hopefully in the winter they keep my feet warm and not too hot in the summer. The leather is quite thick so the boot is stiff at first but after some shoe grease and time I think it’ll soften up. I have put them on and walked around the house and yard to get a feel for how hard they are on the bottom and the boots do give a very firm step feeling while not pushing back very hard into the knees and lower back so I believe the sole will hold up while the boot maintains a desirable amount of comfort. My opinion on the “waterproofing” and insoles will not be very helpful as I use custom fit insoles and I apply multiple thick layers of hubbards shoe grease to all of my boots. Overall at first glance and use the boots are nice and well made for the price point but I will update in a couple months after use. Again I am an aircraft mechanic so my experience will be different from construction workers and other tradesmen but I hope this helps

Bought one for me and then for dad. The boot grips you perfectly at the ankle. Finding something like this was extremely hard over the years. Definitely looks great.

I do some brutal construction work and my feet always kill, I've done chipps red wings and thorogoods and this smokes them. Took years to come by them but they almost feel like sneakers to the bottoms of my feet. The rubber on the toe might not be the most stylish but it can handle anything. Concrete work, asphalt, trench work, water main excavations you name it. FIts true to size aswell which is rare for me. Note I did get a wide version

I’ve been looking for a good new set of steel toe boots for a very very long time. I’ve been wearing a mix of different pairs of sneakers and a pair of soft toe Timberland boots to my job for a while now. I finally decided on this pair of boots after some recommendations. I bought these boots on June 6th and they arrived on June 11th. These boots lasted until the 8th of August. My job is 85% walking and 15% operating forklifts. The boot tore at the heel where the leather top half meets the synthetic material on the bottom half. I didn’t realize that the boot had tore until I got home at 1 am the following day. I’ve bought some cruddy boots in the past but they at the very least lasted two years. Those Timberland boots I mentioned earlier were a birthday gift from my grandmother years ago. I got those boots back in 2013. They haven’t broken apart in all this time. The only wear on those boots is that the insole has flattened out, the color of the boot has faded (that’s to be expected), it has a small micro tear where the side of the boot meets the sole (happened two months ago), and the tread is finally down to 20-31%. Positives: These boots are exactly as advertised by those who had recommended them. These boots are very comfortable to walk in. They’re definitely waterproof. I’ve had to work out in heavy rain a couple times and zero water got into them. Conclusion: They were wonderful boots until they tore on me. I had hoped these boots would last at least two years. I’m very disappointed. I was so excited for these boots. I can’t give these boots more than a single star out of principle. What use is a comfortable pair of boots if they can’t even last two full months? These boots were $139.

I got these as a gift for my job and these are awesome. I work metal fab so I'm on my feet all day, grinding, welding, measuring and cutting. These boots are super comfortable right out the box. Look sleek, and definitely durable

I'm extremely satisfied with how well these boots performed for my husband, withstanding heavy use in harsh environments with dirt, cold, and wet conditions. While I wish they lasted a bit longer, I'm realistic about the demands of his job and its impact on footwear.
