I have other Ariat boots that I am a fan of...but these ones were even more comfortable. The big plus for me was getting that level of food bed comfort and a steel toe while also having a lower profile for more of that cowboy boot look that I prefer.

These are basic ass boots. Should NOT be priced at over $150. Nothing special about them except the flag on the shaft. No frills. Probably the cheapest materials Ariat had available went into these. The fit is strange as well. There a very noticeable difference in how the boots fit from the left one to the right one. They are not particularly comfortable either. They're not especially heavy for a ST but that's neither here nor there. I'm looking forward to seeing if they hold up like my Ground Breakers. If these were a gift (I wish they had been) I would give them back but since returning these after wear is such a pia. I'll just oil them and see how much hell I can put them through.
