I am very disappointed with my purchase. The actual depth for this ratchet head is extremely shallow if you have any kind of a long bolt going through this will not fit. There is about an inch clearance between the edge of the ratchet head and the inside spring mechanism. If you work with nuts that have more than one inch clearance between the bolt and the nut this will not work.

I was not expecting much when I ordered this set. I was needing a set of flex head ratchets and decided to give these a try. These are VERY well made, the feel great and work great. i like these so much, that i am going to order a set of ARES regular ratchets as well. They also come in a really nice hard foam storage case. If you are on the fence about ordering these, Don't be, just order them. They are really nice. You are not going to find a 3 piece flex head set this nice anywhere else for this price,

So far, these ratchets seem great, especially with the foam tray, and for the money. I really with they sold a version that did not have the quick release button, and was flex head, and had the long handles. I'm not a fan of the quick release buttons, but the next quality set of long handle flex head ratchets was more than double what these cost, so its hard to complain. If these came without the quick release handle, and had a higher teeth count, like maybe 90, they would be perfect, but for now, they are pretty great.

Got the set this week. Used on a brake job and was exactly what I needed. Every garage should have a set. Can’t speak to durability yet but felt solid and switch, button, and swivel all felt well built.

I was able to use these(1/4") this past weekend. Very smoothed with the gears and the flex worked great. I have the the 3pc non flex head for over a year now. I waited for Ares to come out with the flex heads. I will be waiting for the swivel heads now. I have a number of Ares products and I highly recommend this line. I will update ths as I use them more.

Excellent! As described, but the quality appears, to me, to better than described. I particularly like the 90 tooth ratchet. Outstanding for the tight quarters I work in. At this price point I highly recommend!
