I have a mityvac bleeder set. But I didn’t realize when I ordered it that mityvac doesn’t have an adapter for Honda. Besides the generic multiuse one they have that you can more or less make work on anything long as you have room to work with. But that is a real pain to setup and you can’t always make it fit. So I did some digging and this was more or less the only Honda specific adapter out there that’s built solid. I have another pump that I generally use for diffs and tran services from oem tools I believe and it uses this same adapter. And that works well but I wanted to make it work with my mityvac so I don’t have to waste time switching out the fluids and etc. At the time when I bought those two pumps they were the only ones on Amazon really and I wish I had this brand as an option then. But anyways mityvac uses two different size fittings on their adapters, there is a different style coupling that will not work with these. However you are able to unscrew the fitting on the adapter and I was able to swap it out so it works with my mityvac pump like all my other adapters. It’s really sad mityvac is so expensive but doesn’t offer a real adapter for Honda that works. I don’t mind paying for it, this adapter is expensive but it’s worth it. It’s built well and works. It’s kind of a pain to get in place sometimes. And it can be messy. Make sure you suck out the master cylinder and then leave plenty of room to insert this tool because it will make a giant mess otherwise. Glad this tool is available on the market.

Just purchased 18005 Honda 55mm master cylinder adapter and 70921 2L pressure bleeder pump. Used one time each on 2006 Civic EX 4-dr sedan (manual transmission) and 2015 Honda Odyssey Touring to do single-person bleed of all brakes. Adapter is a very snug fit on both cars but attached securely and sealed excellently (adapter had dual sealing o-rings to ensure good seal)! Manufacturer tech support was responsive and helpful. Pump looks like a weird design until you consider the engineering and realize it's very well designed - spherical pressure tank and air pump is outside of brake fluid chamber. Excellent build quality on all components - you get what you pay for so it's worth the slightly higher cost than some competing products. For the first time, I'm not dreading my next brake bleeding and trying to convince the wife to help. Thanks for a good product!

I used on a 2020 Honda Odyssey, and it was flawless. I read so many posts about not holding a seal, spills etc. This part held the vacuum like an absolute champ.

A little pricey but was able to bleed with no help and always an argument with my wife if she lets off the pedal too soon, so we both appreciate avoiding that situation. The fitting works with my Schwaben pressure bleeder and fit my 2016 Honda Pilot. Like I think most people do, I just use the pressure and dont fill it with fluid, prevents messes, and just top off for each wheel. That little bit of extra effort saves cleanup time and wastes less fluid.

2016 Honda Odyssey yup you bet. Works with my shchwaben power bleeder. Worked the first time and holds the vacuum and never came loose. Quality all metal construction with the rubber inset to attach to the brake reservoir.. Expensive but very well made. Buy with confidence.

This master cylinder adapter worked like a champ on my 2019 Honda Pilot Elite AWD. No complaints here, this master cylinder cap was excellent. It performed as it should. It made my brake bleeding job at ease. Now this item from Ares was the best. It made my work easy. It maintained 25 psi at all times, until I finished bleeding the brake. Highly recommended.

Used this recently along with pressure bleeder to bleed all four wheels of my 2018 Honda Civic Si. This was a perfect fit and didn't bleed any pressure and made bleeding all four brakes a non-issue.
