Picture quality is just like in advertisements. Day pictures are in color, night pictures are black and white. Either way very clear. I am so amazed how clear pictures this takes in pitch black room at night. Installation was easy. You first scan their QR code and you get voice instructions what to do next. They walk you right through. From your phone you can position the camera, up, down, sideways. You may be as confused as I was to know just what you get with the camera only, without subscription or SD card. As long as you got cell phone and WIFI you can see live pictures what is happening at that moment weather you are in the next room or 1000 miles away. You get two way talk. You can rotate the camera lens to see the whole room. If you need to know what happened in the past such as what the FedEx guy looked like who dropped your package on the porch you don’t see that unless you happened to be on your phone at the time. So I bought SD card. Well, that’s another story. Being as technologically challenged as I am I didn’t know which way to put the SD card in. Don’t laugh, I am retired and woman. No instructions came with Arenti and neither with SanDisk. Go to Youtube. Everyone there pinched the tiny SDcard between their fingers so you couldn’t see which way they put it in. I save you couple of hours. The text side goes on the top and the short side goes in first. You can program it to record continuously or events only, meaning the camera records only when it detects movement. When the SD card is full it will be overwritten circularly. I don’t know yet how long my 128G SD card will last before it starts recording over. I haven’t got there yet. But I do know what the FedEx guy looks like. ... show more

I thought by upgrading to a 5G camera, it would be a better quality than the old ones, they're not. Trying to speak through them as a joke it is constantly skipping, and will only repeat one word very slowly at a time I regret purchasing these.

Camera was easy to set up. Controls are good. About 2 sec delay which is normal for these type cameras. Picture quality is good. Set at HD or better. Night vision is very good. Intercom was much better than expected... Price point is in line or below other products. I use this on the Motor coach mounted" looking forward as a dash Cam" and to monitor the coach when we are out... Record a full day of travel and have proof if there is an accident. ... show more
