Description

During the development of the new P12 PWM PST, special emphasis was placed on a focused airstream and thus a high static pressure. The fan assures extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance. Therefore, the P12 PWM PST is particularly suitable for use on heatsinks and radiators. A 10 °C lower motor temperature roughly doubles the life span of a fan. The new ARCTIC motor has a four times longer service life through its low coil temperature. Thanks to the 4-pin connector, the RPM can be regulated in a broad spectrum via PWM. In this way, noise is kept at a minimum while maximum cooling performance is assured when needed. Thanks to an alloy/lubricant combination developed in Germany, friction within the bearing is reduced and greater efficiency is achieved. As a result, there is less heat development as well as less bearing noise, which means you can enjoy a longer service life from your fan. Fan Speed: 200–1800 rpm (0 rpm <5 %) Airflow: 56.3 cfm | 95.7 m³/h Static Pressure: 2.20 mmH₂O Noise Level: 0.3 Sone Operating Ambient Temperature: 0–40 °C Fan Frame: Standard Control Type: PWM PST Connector: 4-Pin-Connector + 4-Pin-Socket Fan Bearing: Fluid Dynamic Bearing Typical Voltage: 12 V DC Starting Voltage: 3.9 V Current | Voltage: 0.1 A | 12 V DC Cable Length: 400 mm ARCTIC, a leading manufacturer of PC coolers and components, initiated and continues to shape the trend towards quiet cooling systems.

  • A Great Alternative
Color: black Size: 120 mm (Pack of 1) Style: P12 PWM PST (black)
Context: Top fans in my NR200 case started making noise about two years into use. I regularly clean my case and everything, but apparently the bearings in the original fans that came with the case got through QC with too high of tolerances. They were getting noisy with low use (I game primarily on Friday night for a few hours max). Needed to replace them and was caught between choosing Arctic and Noctua fans. I read some reviews and went with these. Pros: - Price; Noctua fans are expensive but are reliable and quiet. I took a chance with these. - Installation was easy; fan dimensions were perfect. - The ability to daisy-chain these two together by default saved me some time and complexity with cable management inside the case. Cons: - Noise; I'm spoiled with two large Noctua fans at the base of my tower and two Noctua fans cooling my deshrouded GPU. These fans are BY NO MEANS loud, but when compared to Noctua, it is noticeable. I game with a headset and it is impossible to hear them. - Quality; time will tell to see if the bearings can survive; these seemed pressure-fitted better than the last ones that got noisy, but if there is any drop when turning the fan over, you're bound to have dust infiltrate the bearings and eventually kill the fan or make it noisy. Overall: It's tough to beat the price and convenience of the daisy-chain cables. I installed and had these up and running in about 4 minutes. Time will tell about the quality, but I'm satisfied and glad I took the gamble here. If I had a higher-end rig, I would get Noctua fans. For now, these are great. ... show more

  • Night and day cooling on video card
Color: black Size: 120 mm (Pack of 1) Style: P12 PWM PST (black)
I have an RX 580 that has the original fans that are extremely loud. They always oscillate between highest speed and lower speed than it drives me nuts. Replaced with these two, set the fan at constant speed, and the temperature never gets out of 30° c. Completely quiet, if you don't mind them being oversized. I just don't put my PC case cover back on. Absolutely worth the mod. ... show more

  • A very good fan for the moderately inexpensive price it sells for.
Color: black Size: 120 mm (Pack of 1) Style: P12 PWM PST (black)
I bought this for the rear exhaust fan in my new computer build as the Focus G from Fractal did not come with a rear fan and have heard good things about them, this exhaust fan, in combination with the peerless Assassin CPU cooler helps keep the entire PC comfortable, but not terribly hot and this is a fairly beefy build as it is as it's based on the Core 7 Ultra processor and Intel A770 GPU so not a light weight and I use it for editing among other things and is my general computer overall. It seems quiet as the whole PC does not ramp up too much as far as fans go as the front 2 are 140mm fans that come with the case, the rear is I believe 120mm. Looks to be of good quality and it's from Arctic and I have heard good things about their fans in general anyway. For the price, can't beat it. ... show more

  • Twice as quiet and 4c cooler than stock radiator fans.
Color: black Size: 120 mm (Pack of 1) Style: P12 PWM PST (black)
I have the Thermalright Peerless 120 twin cooler with an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X chip with 16 cores. I replaced the two stock fans it came with for a pair of these. Temps on a stress test went from 85c to 81c and on my decibel meter the noise was cut in half with the Arctic P12 fans. Huge win for $20 and took 5 minutes. You don't need water cooling for this CPU. In games it's cruising 55c-65c on air, without the worry about leaks or evaporation degrading performance. I had liquid AIO stuff, but the pump noise was pretty annoying. I ordered a spare just in case. So quiet, you'll be checking with a flashlight to see if they're on :) ... show more

  • Work well, frustrating install
Color: black Size: 120 mm (Pack of 1) Style: P12 PWM PST (black)
Was having weird issues on one of my systems where it just got really unstable after installing an extra NIC. I spent a ton of time trying to find the cause thinking it had something to do with the NIC. After a ton more troubleshooting I notice that the fan splitter was angled towards the motherboard. It was in the worst position possible and likely making contact with jumper pins that stuck out. I'm just lucky that something was not burned out from this. Still a terrible design. Please just make these seperate from the stock fan cable or include something to cover the pins to avoid accidents that could potentially damage hardware. Beyond this these are great fans, they've been compared to much more expensive nf-a12 fans and held their own. Quality is not as good as noctua but for sure a great competitor at this price. ... show more

  • If you're looking for silence at a value, look no further
Color: black Size: 120 mm (Pack of 1) Style: P12 PWM PST (black)
I purchased this set to replace a number of fans that came included with my Fractal North case after noticing some unpleasant noise. Running these at 40% speed (~900 rpm) these are near silent and work well for my system at idle (R5 7600X / RX 6950XT). Even at 60-70% they push a good amount of air and help keep things cool under moderate gaming loads. I try to avoid the highest end on these fans since the noise is much more noticeable but they push a ton of air if you end up needing it. Your experience will vary based on your tolerance for noise and willingness to adjust fan curves. Personally, I love having the option for a nice silent curve with the option to max out under loads. All the other reviews praising the value of these fans aren't wrong. If you're not in the market for the likes of Noctua, these are your answer. ... show more

  • Great for CPU air cooler

I added these two pc fans to my CPU air cooler and saw better temps right away. They push a lot of air and stay pretty quiet.

  • Perfectly acceptable case fan for my modest i3-14100 PC
Color: black Size: 120 mm (Pack of 1) Style: P12 PWM PST (black)
Seems like a good rear case fan to me so far. Quieter than the stock cpu fan in my not very demanding PC with Intel i3-14100 cpu, Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1650 DDR5 video card, and Gigabyte B760M D3H AC DDR4 motherboard and it has PWM control for the motherboard's 4-pin fan headers. CPU rarely gets much above 45C so I don't need a huge powerful fan, just something that won't annoy me with excessive noise while it provides modest cooling. ... show more
