Description

Dye Performance Slide Shorts have been designed with the same compression formed responsive air foam as the Performance Top. This unique padding material offers the ultimate in protection and breathability. We have positioned this new compression formed padding in critical areas to maximize protection, without hindering movement or flexibility. Special hip bone pads have been added to help minimize injuries. A unique padded crotch protector has also been added to protect the most important parts. True elastic waist band allows full stretch evenly around the waist for ultimate comfort.

Used ‘em for some games, they’re comfy and stay put. I like ‘em, and love having the extra protection. I’m 5’10”, 195lbs, fit/muscular build, large thighs, the XL’s fit great and go fine under athletic shorts or joggers. Not too hot even when playing woodsball in 100+ heat. A bit hotter for sure, but worth the protection from massive thigh bruises or shots to the family jewels. I was using a fannypack as a codpiece, now I don’t need to as this provides coverage where it counts. The padded shirts I’ve tried are towering infernos to wear, but these are good and worth the slight trade off in warmth that they add. Great shorts with decent sponge padding. I wear these under shorts. Buy these a size or two larger than whatever you wear. I am 5'9" - 175lbs and my waist is a 32. This Dye short is amazing. Your movements are not restricted; it is well padded, protects your hips, crotch and thighs. It helps you with some bounces, is super light, it has some anti-bacterial cover thing that helps not to have it stinky because of the sweat, well ventilated and in my case fits just perfect. These are pretty decent slider shorts that I wear under my paintball pants. I don't do a whole lot of sliding but my hip area is a little boney and it helps for those times I do slide or get shot in the thighs. Only complaint is that they run pretty small. Great fit, I have a 36 inch waist, weigh approximately 200 lbs so this will fit you like a glove if you are near my build and size. I ordered the large and I am impressed with the breath ability and comfort of these. I can and have reffed all day in these no chaffing or any other issues.

I’ve only worn these so far to try them on, but I agree with others, they run SMALL. I’m 5’11, approximately 170 lbs and the large is still somewhat tight, although I dont think that it will restrict movement. I kind of wish they ran down the thigh a little longer.
