Excellent equipment! Had my doubts, but have used it on both 120 ans 240V with great success. Very stable arc and amperage control. Welds heavier steel than I had expected. Have used several type rod including SS and this machine works well with anything I needed to weld. I also have a MIG so this welder is a great addition to the tools and fills a void that stick welding is best suited for.

Been using it for pipe welding and gotta say it works better than expected. Handles 1/8 rod 6011 and 7018. Good quality. If you’re choosing between yeswelder or arc captain, I’d prefer arc captain. More durability, heavy duty work.

This got to be the most professional tool I have! First time user but I am able to follow thru with the manual, it’s quite straightforward. The manual also comes with some cool stickers. It doesn’t come with gloves and mask so be sure to get those beforehand. Anyway I would recommend this!

My high dollar inverter welder go down and I had to send it in for repair. My excavator needed 5 weld on noses installed on this bucket, now these are not anything small, each nose weighs 10# each, Honestly I was doubtful if this little inverter would do the job but I was in a slight bind so I figured, lets give it a shot. I will honestly say I am totally impressed with this machine, I put it through it's paces and pushed it I think beyond what it was capable of and it didn't skip a beat. Would I buy another Arc Captain product..... Yes I would!

Had my arc 200 for several months . Got the new 205 pro a few weeks ago . Arc captain is my new favorite weld machine brand been a Lincoln fan boy my whole life . On my arc 200 I upgraded the power cables and bolted several grounds inside the machine and it welds great , I burn ++++p 6010 all day no problem, no arc going out not fighting the machine , hood down I'm not knowing if I'm using a miller bobcat or arc captain . My new 205 ,opened it up and the build quality has doubled. Grounds bolted in almost same spots I did on my arc 200. Upgraded power cable, ground going straight to bolt on tied in w others. Wind tunnel , and fan on demand . Nice , I want to buy another. I really like both arc 200 and 205 . I put 205 and generator plus air compressor in my truck and lighter now than bobcat by itself. I will be getting mig 200 next and sell a few of my others .hands down get you a 205 now , if you have the skill can do serious work with arc captain.
