First of all, I own quite a few Arcade1ups. I was ready to consider the collection complete... Until I saw the Claw! Contrary to other reviews the claw works just fine. No problems at all and it's a strong grip under the "normal" setting. My only complaint is the light. When the Claw operates it moves with arcade music in the background (which is a nice touch by the way). But the light needs improvement. It blinks on and off. When it blinks off there is no light whatsoever. It's pitch black if your room doesn't have enough background light. That's just odd. It should alternate between on and dim or on and a different color. So I bought a color changing puck which I plan on attaching to the ceiling of the machine so when the main light goes off there will still be an alternative colored light instead of pitch black. Other than that I'm very happy with the product and am having fun trying different types of prizes to see what's best to fill the Claw machine with. I say get one and... Enjoy!

After all the money I've poured into this company they keep sending me garbage. Broke before I was even able to bring the box to the dumpster. Good thing too. Because to return it you need to DISASSEMBLE THE THING AND PUT IT BACK IN ITS ORIGINAL BOX. the claw got stuck and i figured out both the motors had fried because they weren't engaging at all. Never even got to put prizes in it. Just the little plastic balls it comes with. Absolutely horrible. DO NOT BUY!!! $500 down the drain. After years of supporting this company and countless arcade machines I will never be buying another product from this company again. Worlds biggest paperweight.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: After we did what support instructed us to do it has worked good for the last few weeks without any issues thus giving it 4 stars now. Would be 5 if we didnt have any issues as the kids love it. So we bought it and one piece had a crack in it which Arcade 1 support said they were waiting for parts to come and it would be shipped when that happens. The part arrived like 10 days later. Our kid played the machine for maybe 100 drops and the claw stopped working properly. We contacted support, sent them a video and they sent us instructions that also included a video on how to reset the software of the claw arm. It has fixed the issue at the moment, time will tell if the issue comes back. We also noticed the claw arm hits the glass as well when it drops the prize. The instructions need some changes as well to make it an easier build. It is a very fun machine for our kid to play when working properly. When the bugs are worked out we do recommend it for everyone. the video shows what problem occurred.

The media could not be loaded. Omg there's so much to say about this! I bought this as a Christmas🎁present. Assembly took me about 2.5 hours.⌛️ Turn on Netflix and have a snack ready. You'll want to finish assembly without stopping. All you need is a screwdriver 🪛(I love ezpz assembly!) The claw comes pre-built. All you have to do is screw in the track it moves along, set it inside, and plug it in. I've tested it over 50 times already.👷♂️📋 Zero malfunctions. 🚨 Important note: LIGHTING💡. Moving the joystick triggers a new round of gameplay. The lights flash ON and OFF during gameplay. To be clear: it goes completely dark every other second (as shown in their advertisment videos if you look closely enough). So I took the advice of another review posted below, and I bought/carefully installed a motion activated LED strip inside on the ceiling around the perimeter. Now when the lights go out, the interior is painted a variety of colors. Regarding my choice of LED strip: you have a claw moving around up there so I needed something relatively flat. It cost me $10 right here on Amazon and took me about 25mins to install, download the app, and choose lighting options.👉🏻HIGHLY RECCOMEND.👈🏻 In summary, this machine was worth every penny. It shipped faster than expected, and it is packaged for user convenience from the second you open it. Thank you Arcade 1Up. Best Christmas ever. (PS thank you to the customer that initially reccomended adding extra lighting, brilliant idea).
