Last year I bought an Arcade "Ranger" belt, and I fell in love with it immediately. The amount of stretch in the belt is perfect for providing a sense of security but not constricting movement at all. It's easy to adjust. There's no metal, so you can wear it through an airport. It's extremely flat and minimalist, so it's easy to take on outdoor adventures. I would have said it was basically perfect. But now that I've tried this Arcade "Adventure" belt, I see that they managed to make some great improvements! The buckle is much more streamlined, so there's no chance of it getting snagged on a belt loop when you're putting it on. The buckle is also slightly curved, not perfectly flat like before, so it conforms to the curve of your waist better. The belt strap itself attaches to the buckle differently too, creating a cleaner and more symmetrical look. These are perhaps subtle improvements, but still appreciated! Glad to see Arcade continuing to refine and improve their product. And, just as importantly, not sacrificing any of the quality construction that I appreciated in my first belt! To me, this is basically the ideal belt for travel and outdoor adventures like hiking and backpacking. ... show more

Very well made belt, quality materials are evident and noticeable. This belt is one of the most comfortable belts I have ever had the pleasure of wearing! The title says it all! The buckle itself is easy to operate, feels secure, and does not stab into your waist. The buckle is made of plastic, but does not feel or function like low quality plastic. The Arcade A2 Belt looks great, use for casual, work, sport, or anlmost any event. One thing you will need to do when you first get the belt, is adjust for your waist size. Ensure you adjust it 1-2 sizes smaller, as the belt is elastic and adjusting the belt to the exact size will not hold your pants up. Once the sizing has been dialed in, this belt does a great job of HOLDING THE LINE, Waist Line that is, meaning it will not loosen up as you progress through your day. I am officially a fan of this belt, style, build, and will be ordering a Black, Khaki, and Brown belt! ... show more

This is replacing my fraying, canvas, military-style belt. I was a little unsure about going with a stretchy belt, but the elastic is firm and it makes the belt very comfortable to wear. It’s also made of recycled webbing, which is nice. I was also unclear on how the size adjustment would work, but it’s simple and effective. The extra strap laces though one side of the buckle and is folded behind, doubling up a section of the belt. This is held in place with a loop of elastic, embroidered with the company name. It doesn’t add much bulk. The two layers together are about 3/16” thick. My nominal waist size is 32, and I had a little over 6” of extra strap. It’s nice that you don’t have to cut it off, in case your size fluctuates. The buckle is only ¼” thick. I’m accustomed to metal buckles, but I see the advantage of plastic for travel. I hope this one is durable. This seems like a high quality product, so I’m not really concerned. ... show more

I need a little elastic to help keep my pants up. This is my second Arcade belt, and it's the best I've found so far. First off, I love the design I got the one that is black with a green forest design on the side. It's subtle but really cool looking. I like how the belt has elastic and is big enough to fit me but not too large after adjusting. The comfortable plastic buckle is great. It's easy to lock and unlock. This must be a newer design than my old one, because the buckle has a little Arcade insignia on it and works a little bit better. My only complaint, and it's not the fault of the belt, is that it's a little wide which makes putting it through the belt loops a little bit of effort. I believe they have a slim model which I'll probably try on my next Arcade belt. ... show more

I was looking forward to getting a nice comfortable belt that lived up to the "adventure" and "heavy Duty" parts of the Arcade Belts A2 Unisex Adventure Belt. Alas, I don't think it did, although the "stretch" part certainly did. First, it is comfortable and can be infinitely adjusted (albeit, with some effort) to fit your waist. The comfort comes from the "stretch" in the belt which allows you to move around while being tight enough to hold up your pants. Unfortunately, at least for my use, the belt is too stretchy. It barely holds up a cell phone much less the other items that I carry every day. The stretch causes it to sag with anything of weight and collapse as oppose to maintaining its shape. This will be very rarely used in my case. I guess I'm rating it as middle of the road - comfortable, good looking, but not so much for "adventure" ... show more

This is really on the soft and gentle side. Perfect for a chill airplane ride. I have a bunch of bigger heavier duty elastic belts with quick release that are not metal free - those can be found everywhere and they are cheaper and offer more support (can even carry things), but it is just not the same: With this design you can fit it in any pants loop without readjusting because the buckle is so slim. It is so slim that you need and extra second to find the opening. I like that you can just wash it with the pants. Don't have to take it off at any security check. And it is just gentle and inobtrusive. The design is not cheap looking and the finish and materials is really top notch. I would really recommend it for traveling and tourism because it is so comfortable and convenient. Nevertheless the use case really ends there for me. ... show more
