I have always loved Golden Tee at the arcade, and I've spent a good chunk of change on them over the years. When I was younger I loved fighting and beat em up arcade games. When I got older and discovered Golden Tee, that became my favorite arcade game. I always wanted to have one at home, but they go for roughly 4 grand to get into a new version if you don't buy used/older. There was no way I was going to plunk down that kind of change and I didn't want to scour for used second-hand machines. Then I started seeing the Arcade 1UP machines at local stores. Did some research and saw that they, to my amazement, had Golden Tee as one of the options. The price to quality ratio on these machines is very good in my opinion. I am not bothered by the older Golden Tee games that are included in this machine. I dig the old school graphics and always found the visuals of Golden Tee charming in their own way. The replay value on this game is incredible. The track ball feels good, and the whole kit is a class act and really looks the part. The riser and light up marquee included in this package are icing on the cake. I also like the 3/4 size as it's a good fit and saves space in my game room. Kudos to Arcade 1UP for bringing affordable arcade games to the masses. I could not be happier with this thing. Can't wait to have some buddies over and golf out! ... show more

My 3 star rating is for 1 reason, but the problem has been solved by costumer service. 1st of all the game plays great and I have no continued issues with this game that I won't be able to fix on my own. Game play is as should be and the consol was easy to put together. I play this frequently, so it gets plenty of testing. Now for the bad. I only had this game for a few days before it started being defective. The screen was blitzing out and got to the point of non playable within about 2 weeks. When I tried to get ahold of customer service through Amazon, I recieved phone numbers for a competitor. This made my process longer. When I did get ahold of the correct customer service, I had to try things to see what the problem was. This was a pain, since I do work so much, but I understood the reasoning. When nothing fixed the problem, they sent me the parts to fix this problem. I an greatful that they made things right for me, however, it was not an easy process and it took to long, in my opinion. Let me explain. They corrected this problem as soon as they could possibly do so. It took me about 1 week to receive my console that was defective in my opinion. Nothing i done could have caused this problem that i was having. When they corrected the issue and made me good, it took nearly 2 weeks for me to get the new parts. I feel that they should have sent these parts to me in a faster way. Just my opinion, but I think it should have been shipped faster than the consol, not at their cheapest possible way. I am now having issues with the ball. I believe that I can fix this myself, but it is another issue already. The wheels under the ball are not spinning so well and I believe they need to be oiled or greased or something. There are videos on YouTube describing this and explaining the fix. The 3 star rating has nothing to do with the ball, only the process and longevity of the fix. It took twice as long to fix the issues as it did for me to get the console. ... show more

Love this! Got it for our Rec room and we play non stop. 4 players can play at a time which makes it good for competitive play. Easy to assemble, took about half an hour, clear instructions. Good graphics and sound

    • Came broken. No fixed and works as expected.
This unit game with a broken power supply which we determined by using a tester. Once replaced with a new power supply which we purchased it works great. I reported the power supply being broken on arrival to the company and they just sent me a boilerplate response of I can return the entire unit for 30 days or call to troubleshoot. Not helpful at all. If you purchase this and it doesn’t work, be prepared to purchase a new power supply. Also, the track ball could be bigger. ... show more

    • Granddaughter loves to play it
I used to like to play this in bars a long time ago. I hated to have to keep pumping quarters into it, though, so I had to restrict my play. Now I have this and I love it. Bought it for Christmas 2019 when it was on sale for $349. It didn't come in time, but that didn't bother me. Knowing that it was coming was enough. I would like the graphics to be of a higher quality, but I would be concerned if it was, then putting might become so difficult, it would detract from the fun. My son thought I was crazy, but after he played it some, he came around. His seven year old daughter, though wants to play it as soon as she comes in the door. At first I assembled it without the riser so the kids could play it, but I found I play better when I stand than I do when I sit. So now they have to stand on a chair. They don't mind. ... show more

    • Great Addition to the basement "fan cave"
I ordered this after having it saved in my wish list for a few months, the assembly of this was pretty simple with easy to follow instructions (the riser could use better instructions but we got it together). I wanted this to put in our basement "fan cave" and thought it would be fun for when we have friends over. This thing in my book gets 5 stars alone for the fact that it got my 14 and 18 year old sons off of their Xbox...lol. I have seen some people complain about the graphics, but to me they are fine when you think about the fact that this is not the same system that you would see in a bar, it is a home game system and for that it works out just fine.
