  • Ecelent sound and performance
Color: White/Black Style: Kaira Pro HyperSpeed Set: PlayStation
These headphones provide excellent sound and superior performance. Perfect for gaming with the dongle to connect to game decks. The microphone works well also. Even if you have the sound turned up high, those around you do not hear you. Lag time while gaming online minimal. Dongle does seem to have some issues with lag time if multiple devices are using the 2.4ghz wave length at the same time. Over all, very satisfied with the quality and performance. ... show more

I was so excited to finally get a headset for my PS5 so I could talk to people. My hopes were shattered when I tried to pair my PS5 to this headset. This morning in went through the packaging one more time and guess what?! It comes with a dongle to make the things work

  • Worth every single penny!
Color: Black Style: Kaira Pro Set: Xbox
I very rarely will write a product review, but these absolutely deserve it. These are by far some of best headphones I have ever worn or used. Coupled with Dolby Atmos, they are stunning. The sound quality rivals if not beats out much more expensive headphones I have used. Watching movies that gave Dolby Atmos is a whole experience in and of it's own. Now for gaming, these headphones feel unfair and like a large competitive advantage, I know where opponents are, in which direction they are long before they even know I am in their proximity. Bottom line for the price point....you simply will nit find a better pair of dual connect gaming headphones on the market. ... show more

  • I Have Opinions and Will Share Them
Color: Black Style: Kaira Pro Set: Xbox
I've owned two of these Kira headsets now (one was returned due to the issues below and then I got these, with the same problems). I've had this one for about three months. It should also be noted that, as these are intended for the Xbox, I did also test them on a second Xbox to ensure some of my problems were not only related to the console. I also own many headsets, I switch based on mood and what I'm listening to (lets face it, not all headphones can handle every task), so I have some good comparisons in terms of quality. Some of my more traditional gaming headsets: SteelSeries Arctis 7 (2020) SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless (2023, current main use) Astro A40 + Mixamp Pro (2019 model I believe) Razer Blackshark V2 WIRED (2022) Of the above the Artis 7 is the closest in terms of price (both are ~150) and build, though the Kira has some new tricks my three year old Arctis 7 simply does not (the newer Arctis 7X is more comparable now). The headset has some things I like: a good battery life, and they are very comfortable for larger heads, and... Ok. The headset has two things that I like. The Arctis 7's battery life is about the same in my experience... 17-20 hours or so. The issues with the Kira are many, one of them being something I knew when I purchased them but I'm going to ding them anyway: they are technically multi-device capable, but your experience on anything other than Xbox might be less than ideal. They are optimized for Microsoft's Xbox wireless, but it can connect to Bluetooth 5.0 devices (and be used USB wired). I found a lot of latency over BT 5.0 on both my PC and when I tried it with my TV, and the TV was noticeably worse. The latency is quite noticeable on both. The Arctis 7 I have is PC/PS4 only (possible Switch) and uses SteelSeries' dongle + wireless tech. While I cannot connect that unit to this Xbox (as I stated earlier, the newer 7X would be a better comp, but I don't own them), I can say that I never have any latency whatsoever with that headset. Sound is not good. At all. Tinny, dialogue pops randomly and cuts out entirely for very brief milliseconds ( but it's still noticeable). You cannot adjust audio settings on the Xbox very well with this headset, and presets will not carry over from PC. As such, you cannot do much about the weaknesses the sound profile on these. I'm not an audiophile, so forgive if my jargon is wrong, but while the base has a bit of oomph in it, dialogue and treble in general is really all over. Listening to music one moment mids and highs sounds like it's behind a wet blanket, then another seconds it's shrill. The Arctis 7 does have OK sound overall, but not on par with the $39.99 BlackShark V2 Wired (seriously, that Razer product is one of my favorite headsets, and 40 bucks, it's just a great all-around workhorse). The Arctis 7 is far more consistent though. Some of the issues with sound for me are also related to what I liked.. that they are comfortable. I've got a pair of Cadillac doors on the side of my head, so I buy headsets with cups that don't crush my ears. The Kira's cups are large enough for me that they comfortable fit around my ears without pressing them into the side of my head (cannot say that about the very expensive Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, major issue), and the headband is solid with a THICK and very comfortable pad. That said.. because they aren't actively trying to CRUSH my skull like SOME headsets we've mentioned... they don't always have an ideal seal and I find myself adjustment more often than I'd like. The fit on the Arctis 7 is not ideal for me. I hate SteelSeries' stupid headband strap on their headsets, it's garbage. After about 6 months the strap was very loose and no amount of adjusting the velcro fixes it because.. well the velcro strip is really small. Worst part about this headset. The cups are a good size for me, however, and I never got annoyed at them being on my head (looking at you Nova Pro Wireless and that stupid ANC nub). Both headphones have a less than ideal soundstages IMO, everything is going to sound like it's just right in your ears. To be fair, though, I see this with most of the wireless *gaming* headsets that I own. They never get it right (Astro's A50s are not too bad). If this is a concern for me, I'll generally switch to some wired non-gaming headsets I have. I hate the microphone. Hate it. I've seen reviews saying it's great, but that's not my experience with either of the two Kira's I've owned. The mic is pretty beefy for a wireless headset, so I expected a bit better performance, but I experience a fair amount of noise and unevenness in clarity. The Arctis 7's microphone is simply fine. It's not stellar (hello BlackShark), and it's not terrible, just very serviceable. If you've read this far, you're a trooper. Now go buy a cheap Razer BlackShark V2 and be pleasantly surprised at the experience. If you aren't on Xbox, they USB soundcard does not work on Xbox. ... show more

  • Good headset
Color: Black Style: Kaira Pro Set: Xbox
I bought this headset because I wanted to game with my fiancé . We wanted to be able to communicate when we played fortnite together. Overall, this is a great headset and the Bluetooth works great. The sound quailty is great, also in a group chat too. The battery is great and last 15 hours. But, there are some things I did not like. I am a female with I think an average size head, but the headphones are too big for my head. If I turned my head too quickly the headset with slid off head so I am constantly readjusting the headset on my head. I have the adjusters are on the lowest level. And the headset is still too big, and I like my headset snugged. SO, this headset is made for someone with a larger size head. Also, I do not like that the microphone part can not be cracked to the back of the headset and will shut off the mic. That's a feature other headset I have used in the past have had. Now I have to take the headset off or go in manually and shut off the mic I walk aways and use the bathroom. If you had a headset like that in the. past, then you know what I'm talking about. ... show more
