This rope is way too stiff. It's hard to properly tie and dress knots. It may or may not loosen up over time but it takes me double the time to dress a knot. It's also not the advertised diameter. It's very inconsistent but I'm getting less than 1/2" (12.7mm) everywhere I measure. See the pictures. I'm only getting 0.44 inches (11.2mm). This might work for some basic work but I wouldn't use it for anything critical.
