Tied onto to the many trees I needed to cut and the rope performed perfectly on each tree keeping them from falling on my buildings . If you have trees to fall I would highly recommend this rope for trees up to 18” through. The rope might work for pulling down larger trees but my biggest was 18” through. ... show more

I purchased this rope to fell trees. It held strong and manhandled throughout the entire job excellent abrasion resistance. And firm enough to untie easily. Saved me $10,000 hiring somebody to do the job.

There are lots of products that lend themselves to bargain shopping, climbing rope are parachutes are worth paying a little more for. That said, the rope appears to be of sufficient strength and quality to hang a swing in the back yard or to keep for emergency towing, or any number of uses other than rappelling. As a top rope climbing rope it's a little stiff, but would be fine. I don't plan on using it as a climbing rope or for rappelling, but it's good enough and cheap enough that I'm ordering another 150 feet. ... show more
