I never leave reviews, so here’s my first. These pants are nice, fit well and today was my first day wearing them in my new home up in Fargo, ND. Fargo is known for extremely cold winters with low wind chills. I wanted a pant that wasn’t $150+ dollars. I work on an airport ramp and Today was 28 degrees with wind chill. I did not wear long John’s under these pants. I was very comfortable, felt a tiny bit of cold air, but not enough to make my legs cold. I thought they performed wonderfully for $50 lined windproof pants. I bet these might perform in the -40 weather with thermal underwear. But only time will tell. I never write reviews and haven't worn them yet as they are ski pants and it's August, but I'm very impressed with how they're made and their features. I'm looking forward to hitting the slopes with them.

Well constructed. Should last a very long time. Purchased the 32" waist/32" inseam. Would have preferred a 31" waist (not offered) since 30" turned out to be too small for me, while 32" felt oversized but at least it fit. As far as cut and finish, the photos on the product page are accurate: this is NOT a contoured cut, it is practical and looks like "Dad pants." Manufacturer's tag claims there's slimming through seat and thigh - which again wasn't quite my sensation but I guess the degree of slimness is a judgment call. I wanted these to wick away moisture a bit better. After my couple hours' active use I noticed an object held in my pants pocket was unexpectedly wet from perspiration, and the fleece side of the fabric felt slightly dampish. Not a dealbreaker, though; they kept me comfortably warm. I see competitor products in the same price range, so I'll continue to shop for my best but till then, these will serve me well during our cold Minnesota winter. ... show more

I was excited about the Outdoor Ventures Men’s Fleece-Lined Pants, especially the expandable waist feature, which added comfort and flexibility. Unfortunately, the design didn’t work out for me. The zippered front pockets were too tight and restrictive, which I found inconvenient for daily use. Additionally, the fit around the hips and thighs was tighter than expected, making them uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. Despite the great warmth and thoughtful waist design, I ended up returning them due to these fit issues. I love expensive golf stuff. Big fan of Greyson and Extracurricular. Nobody can figure out rain gear and when the appear to figure it out a pair of pants or a jacket is $500. Don’t buy any of it. Furthermore, nobody has PERFECT rain pants. They usually are baggy and gross looking. These $50 pants are the perfect golf pants for the rain! Slim. Adjustable. Fleece lined. No tacky logos. But these!!! The only thing they need to do now is sell a patching pullover. No hood. No zippers. Just a clean fleece pullover that fleece lined. If you buy pants…I promise you these are the best pair of rain pants on earth for the price! No doubt! ... show more
