This is my first game console. I got it for our grandchildren and to have some fun exercise of my aging body. My first challenge was that my older TV has only one HDMI port and I need that port for streaming connection. Solution? A three channel HDMI switch that makes it easy to switch HDMI channels. The games are rather basic which makes things easier for younger kids and for young and old to play together. Not the death and destruction featured in many popular games nor the complexity of play. Just straightforward, easy to start and, frankly, easy to finish to fit into visitng time with meals, for example. The games have simple movements that are good exercise. I hope they add some fuller, specific, potentially more challenging exercise programs for older adults to use when children are not around. The price is good for all the equipment and the potential of an expanded list of games and exercises. ... show more

The interface and how you interact with it is not very consistent, one game you use this controller the ne t one you have to use a different controller. Some of the games freeze randomly and one is unplayable. The games where you need to bat at an object are very fickle; mive too quick ot will not register you moved, stand too close or too far and it will not detect motion ... show more

This is a fun little video game console. I love that it’s got some of the old school Super Nintendo games on it. The puzzle games are fun and also reminiscent. The motion sensing games are awesome, but the sensitivity of the camera was spotty. It didn’t always pick up on the movement accurately. The use of the remote controls is pretty simple and self explanatory. My toddler really enjoyed the hopping game, as that was the easiest one for him to play, and the best one for picking up motion for him. He had a blast playing it. I’ll keep the box for storage and transport because the unit is compact and easy to bring with on trips or over to friends’ houses. ... show more

The motion sensing games work better than I expected but you do need to have the right space. Of course this is no Nintendo sports and you cannot use the controller to play motion sensing games. You use your hands. Again it works well. The other classical games are old but still fun to play for younger kids. I also like the fact that I can literally use a power bank and a portable monitor to play. That is convenient for me because I can literally put it anywhere. The console is so particular that if you are not standing in an exact spot, it won’t read movement at all. If it does read it, it’s not accurate. Even with remotes, it’s difficult to function even selecting a game.
