I’m an aquarium newb and am currently setting up a new tank for an Axolotyl that my son is getting for Christmas. I’ve been stressing trying to learn and get everything just right for the lil guy. The tank temp was a big deal and needed to figure that out asap, found this and it was reasonably priced, not many reviews yet but got it anyway. So glad I got it, it works great, only on day two and it’s pretty much where it’s needing to be, between 60-65 and it was at 73. It’s not loud and super easy to set. The Auto function is great, just set it to the desired temp and it dies the rest! 👍🏼

I bought this for the 40 breeder that houses my axolotl and I haven't had a problem with tank temperature since. The room does stay pretty cold, maybe 65°F max so I didn't want to purchase a chiller before testing a fan. This WORKS. The tank has been at a steady 63°F and with the temperature probe and auto setting, I haven't had to think about the tank overheating since. Definitely worked out for my situation. I do just wish the angle of the fan could point down more, I prop up a piece of plastic to direct the air to the water.

Great product the fan is very quiet. It fits the regular tank with the frame on it. I would say it’s pretty durable as long as you don’t get water on it and read the instructions. Great for axolotls

I'm super disappointed... I got this for an axolotl tank I'm setting up, it's been consistently sitting at 70° without the fan and after running for 24 hours the fan only dropped it down 2 degrees leaving it consistently at 67°or 68° (which is still about 4 degrees too hot) I saw some really awesome reviews saying their tank went from 73° down to 60° or 64° but it's just not happening for me. I'll probably return it...
