My old humidifier gave out, so when I had a very stuffy nose, dry eyes, and slight cough (allergies) this spring, I looked to Amazon to buy a new one. I chose this one. I was surprised at its small size, since the one I had been using was probably three times larger. I wanted a larger one, but it was my fault I didn't get one. The dimensions for this one are clearly marked on the product page, and I failed to look at them. I just noted that I would receive it the next day, and that was good enough for me. This is a humidifier more suited to an end table than to the floor. Nevertheless, I placed mine on the floor, and it worked well. The steam seems to come out more in one direction only than with my older, larger humidifier, but that's to be expected. This little humidifier gets the job done, though, and done well. After only one day of use, my eyes, nose, and throat were feeling much, much better. I continued to use the humidifier through allergy season, and now I'll put it away until next year. This humidifier is so easy to use, You just fill it with water, plug it in, and turn it on. I do like the fact that I can adjust the level of steam that comes out since sometimes I need more, sometimes less. This would be great for a child's room when he or she has sniffles or a cough. Small as the humidifier is, it doesn't tip over easily at all. Now, a rambunctious child could easily knock it over deliberately if he or she were inclined, but It would have to take a deliberate action. Cleaning this humidifier is so easy. Just rinse the water receptacle, keep it clean, and that's it. When I need a new humidifier, I'll probably go for a bigger model, but until that time, this one fills all my needs and fills them well. Highly recommended, especially for a bedroom night table.

Finally I've found a humidifier that works! I've tried some really cheap ones here on Amazon that just weren't that great. They didn't cover a good area, they needed filters that weren't provided or hard to find and just stopped working after a few months. Living in a dry climate and having allergies really sucks as my nose gets plugged up making sleeping at night difficult and my skin gets dry. Having a good humidifier just makes life easier when I'm working from home and when sleeping. When I saw this I thought maybe this will work for me and it has. What I like about it: -It's a great price. Compared to the big brand names your getting a bargain. You could find cheaper ones but like I said they are going to stop working after a month. This has outlasted all the ones I've tired. -Easy to use. Take it out of the box, put water in the tank and turn on the dial for an immediate mist. No waiting for the filter to get saturated before a mist shows up. It will happen as soon as you turn the dial. Easy to clean as well. -Adjustable mist. A lot of the cheaper ones don't let you control what comes out of them or the direction the mist goes. This does. Turn the dial and you can have a light mist or be bathed in it. Your choice. The dial lights up green when working or red when the water level gets to low and the auto shut off feature is great because... -This thing is silent. I use this both at my home desk and next to my bed and it does not keep me awake or bother my work at all. It's light enough you can easily move it around to where ever you need it. -No filters. I hated when those cheap ones only gave me one filter and didn't even recommend what filters to buy for it. Not that most lasted long enough to use more filters. This product not having filters was a big reason I tried it out and not having to pay for an extra part every month or few months is nice. After trying some really cheap humidifiers I decided I needed to spend some more money to get a good one that works. I'm glad I didn't pass this up for a more expensive one. This has been great and has kept me off the nasal spray and breathing much better at night. Great product and a great buy.

This was a great little humidifier that functions like a larger model. The mist output was fantastic. Unfortunately, after about 18 months, it no longer works properly and will need to be replaced. I am considering buying another one, as it worked great and was easy to fill and clean; however, it did not last that long. I do not know the product life expectancy, but only lasting 1.5 years seems short to me. I wish it had lasted longer. Hence the four stars.

Quiet and mist output is great. I recommend using this especially in the winter when the heat is drying out the air, helps me breathe better. Only downside is it does get some mold inside but I clean it every other day and that seemed to keep it from happening. Overall great product for money!!
