Features

  • SUPER MINI SIZE This small aquarium heater is thumb size - only 2.36 (6cm) in length. Great for nano tanks / betta tanks. The innovative super mini size perfectly solves the headache of the fish keepers on the traditional heaters! Takes up less space, easy to hide, but in full power! Temperature range is 64-93F, for 2-4 Gallon tanks.
  • ACCURATE TEMPERATURE Thanks to the intelligent inverter technology, with the in-built chips this thermostat keeps the heater at a constant temperature at an accuracy of 1F, much more accurate than the traditional knob-controlled heaters. The thermostat shows 2 readings the current temperature and the set temperature very easy to operate.
  • DRY RUN / OVERHEATING PROTECTION Full consideration of safety. With the multiple protections this fish tank heater will stop working when the water level is lower than the minimum water level or when the water temperature exceeds 97F. You are free from cooking fish!
  • MEMORY FUNCTION The last setting is stored in the thermostat. In case of a power cut, when the power recovers the heater will follow the last setting.
  • MULTIPLE USES This heater can be used for both fresh and marine water. It can be not only used as an aquarium heater, but can also work for turtles, pet fountains, and plant seedling.

  • Heater 30w
Size: 30W
Nice little heater! Keeps my little 5 gallon fairly constant.

  • Works well in a small tank
Size: 10W(USB)
We use this in a small tank that holds mainly plants. This unit works well. Keeps the temperature right on. The digital readout is nice.

  • Received replacement the next day!
Size: 10W(USB)
First heating element would not read temperature, change settings, etc. Company sent a replacement that arrived the day following my request. It appears to be functioning great, just reads a lower temperature by five degrees or so according to my thermometer.

  • Nifty, Fun Aquarium Heater!
Size: 10W(USB)
I got my first of these Heaters near a month ago for my 1gal. Betta bowl. Nifty (neat and easy to use), it's been a perfect fit for the compact bowl space, with a digital control combining thermostat (to set the desired heater temp) and thermometer (to show the actual aquarium temp). Loved it so much, I then got a second one, this for my cylindrical 2gal. community tank which is home to six Guppy/Molly/Platy fishes. Yes, it is overcrowded but I closely monitor the tank's water quality and other parameters as well as the fish behavior there. And all the guys are doing well, as shown by their feeding habits, mobility, even schooling activity. Relying on these Heaters for keeping both of my minimal aquaria at an optimal 80°F I've felt confident that all is well. Until the last day or two… my apartment has cooled somewhat from its usual 75°F or so down to 68°F, nothing drastic. Yet the two heaters now seemed taxed to hold their spaces at the 80°F I've set. Each aquarium now hovers at 74°F, shown by the controls of each heater and verified by strip thermometers, one on each aquarium located up against the heater (at least for the Betta bowl). This is a mildly troubling issue on which I will update this review if warranted. ... show more

  • Barely does anything
Size: 30W
Bought the 30w heater for my 6 gallon cube. I had it set to 76 while I was cycling the tank. Put a thermometer into my tank after 2 weeks and it read 72 degrees. So I assume that it's just inaccurate and raised the set point to 86 degrees. Guess where that got me after 30 hours? You're right! 74 whole degrees! You know what the ambient temperature in my house is? You guessed it! 74 degrees! This thing can't even take the 6 gallon nano cube over ambient temperature? Or should easily be able to atleast keep it 5 degrees warmer than my house. Waste of money, I don't suggest buying this. The built in thermostat on it it says it's at 82.5 degrees but the tank is at 74 degrees i have to throw an a 50w heater in now. I had high hopes because I really wanted something easy to hide in my nano tank, no I get to slap a huge 50w heater in there in complete disappointment. I can't even send it back because I'm past the return window now. But I don't even think this 30w heater could maintain a 3 gallon tank. Manufacturer feel free to get in contact with me about your worthless product. Either you have absolutely no quality control/testing or your just pushing a product that you know is garbage and won't work right. I usually ignore bad reviews when I read them but everyone else with the same issue is spot on. ... show more

  • Nicely adjustable...
Size: 20W
Works well for my little 2.5 gallon nano tank that I use for a beta and plant. And that it is digitally adjustable makes it even better. Also comes with a suction cup clip to attach inside your tank. Don't expect major temp changes but it will adjust up a few degrees in 5 gallon or smaller tanks. The heating glass is exposed so be sure your fish/snails/shrimp/critters can easily get away from it's glass if it kicks on when they are attached to it. Nice little heater that's easy to setup and use with big temp numbers you can see from across a room. For very small tanks only. ... show more

  • Defective? Can be made to work, but you probably will also need a separate thermometer
Size: 10W
I bought the 10W version for a 1.6 gal tank. I like its size. But there are a couple of issues. The temperature reading is not stable at all. The displayed temperature continually varies between 1/2 to 1 degree, switching the displayed temp by a tenth of a degree every 2 to 4 seconds. For example, over the course of 20 seconds it drops from 76.2 down to 74.5, then over the next 20 seconds climbs back up again. The actual tank temperature cannot be changing that much that fast. The heater was off for that range (I had it set for 72), but while it is on, the readings also vary about the same amount. Because of the variation, you cannot rely on a quick glance at the heater display to tell you the tank temp, o you are going to need a second tank thermometer. Since the heater turns on when the temp drops to .3 degrees below the set temp, you need to base your setting on the lowest temp, so you'll need to pay attention for a minute or two before you know what that is for a given tank temperature. With a separate tank thermometer, you can make this work by noting the difference between the heater's lowest read temp and the tank thermometer's reading and subtracting that amount from the desired tank temp for its setting. Also, the heater turns off when the sensed temp rises above .3 degrees below the set temp. For example, if the set temp is 72 deg, the heater turns on at 71.7 and off at 71.8. The instruction manual states that it is supposed to turn off when the temp rises above the set temp (which would be at 72.1 if it was set for 72.) Given the sensor variability from the actual tank temp, as the tank temp first drops below the set temp - .3 deg threshold, the heater turns on, but will then turn off right away as the sensed temp climbs above the threshold. The heater would not be turned on continuously until the tank temp actually drops 1 degree below the set temp (so that the reading variation would not be enough to turn it on again). I can't think of a reason why the temperature readings should vary this way, perhaps my unit is defective? ... show more
