The taste of water is very good and the quick filtering is a nice bonus. The filter does lead. The company is naturesensitive in the recycling the used filter free of charge and provides a filter to developing nations. All packages are recyclables.

    • Store the filter properly if you leave for a while
The filtering works great, slowing gradually by the time it needs replacement. I like how the water tastes. The first filter lasted about 5.5 months. We ordered second one, used it for a week and then we made a mistake leaving for 2 weeks and not storing the filter properly. We just left it on a countertop instead of placing it upside down in the fridge. When we came back it was clogged with bacteria and filtered really slowly. I contacted customer support and they responded quickly and sent us a replacement for free, even though it was our fault. I'm very pleased with the service ... show more

    • Great filter, outdated cartridge setup
I love the filter , no complaints about filtered water. Not sure how well it works but my mother in law has some sensitivity to some elements in the regular tap water that rise her blood pressure, and with filtered water she has no issues. Been using it for about 6 years now. There is one new problem however. When buying a replacement cartridge, we are supposed to attach it tightly to a faucet and flush at high pressure for a few minutes. This worked fine for our old "standard" kitchen faucet. Recently we made some remodeling in our house and replaced faucets in kitchen and bathrooms. I didn't think of it at a time, but none of those new modern multi-function faucets with different water spray options now fit the cartridge intake nozzle. I may have to type it to my garden hose and flush it through that way... ... show more
