Sometimes you don't get what you paid for... you get better! I've been looking for these filters for awhile. The other filters I purchased really reduced my water pressure (flow) drastically. I have to gauges on my system (one at the beginning and one at the end of my water system). The filter I was using almost worked as a check valve. This filter works perfectly!

These filters are not a replacement for AP117 filters. There is no hole down the middle for the mounting rod. I've bought AP117 replacement filters for 16 years off Amazon and this is the first time I've been misled. Unfortunately by the time I realized I had the wrong filters the return period had ended.
