I am only on my first filter seems to be fine but does take way longer to filter a pitcher of water then my other brand i was using not a big deal unless your in a hurry will update when i change filter for the second one out of this set to see if it is better.

I use these at work and even though they "claim" they can filter up to 60 gallons after about 20 gallons the red light starts to flash on the pitcher, switching to water drop pitcher and, have one at home and the filters last 100 gallons and yes the DO last 100 gallons!

Seems like I tried the cheapest and the most expensive of these filters in the past. The cheaper ones are so poor that they lose most of their internal material in the water. The more expensive ones do their job fairly well, but potentially not worth the price. This is nice middle-of-the-road type of solution. There is a very fine silt in our city water. I put untreated water in a quart jar and over several weeks this silt settles out at the bottom. Same test with filtered water has none.
