It's a shame this is zigbee but will not work with other hubs. I tried all the tricks and custom code but could not get this to work with my Hubitat. I broke down and bought an Aqara hub and the switch works great. I know the description states it will only work with an Aqara hub, but I'm still knocking off a star because it should work with others. Many other brands claim their devices will only work with their hubs but they work just fine with others. Sadly, this is not the case for the Aqara dual-gang switch. It's a low power zigbee button. Single press, double press, long press - all work as expected. The circular adhesive was already attached (and there was a second adhesive in the packaging as well), which I didn't want. I spent entirely too much time attempting to remove the adhesive I didn't expect to be there. If that's a concern, look elsewhere - not worth the time to scrape it away. ... show more

I am happy with these door/window sensors. The two pieces need to be installed a bit closer together than VOCOlinc sensors. I put one of these on a laundry closet with a pull-out accordion type door. There is a bit of a gap between doors, so I had to install one of the pieces hanging off the door just a bit. They are simple to install and no problems maintaining connection. UPDATE: The company was very understanding and responsive, they sent replacement units very quickly and they work perfectly now! Great product and great support from company, will definitely be purchasing more sensors from Aqara. I purchased 3 of these sensors in a package, a very good deal... until I realized two of the three do not work. Every time the door opens / closes I get between 3 -6 notifications saying the door has opened and closed in rapid succession, Sometimes the final status of the sensor is also incorrect. I installed all the sensors the at the same spacing and distance, but two of them have this issue making them unusable. I was not able to get a replacement from Amazon as I was hoping the issue would go away, and now I am a few days out of the replacement window. I am waiting for Aqara to reply to my replacement request. Will update the review once I get a replacement and make sure they are working! ... show more

For Hubitat, Google and use the Xiaomi "original" drivers. The open/close sensor as well as the humidity sensors work amazingly well for my purposes. For the past week I've been using the open/close on my mailbox that's located by the road. I tried various SmartThings open/close sensors but they kept losing their connection to the hub every few days. I'm guessing that's because of the distance. With the SmatThings sensors, I would need to re-pair or do a battery pull. I have 2 of the temperature/humidity sensors and they also work very well. For the past several months, I have been using them to control the fan in the master bathroom. One in the hallway and the other in the bathroom. When the humidity percentage level is about 15 higher than the hallway, I turn on the fan. I turn off the fan when the bathroom humidity is within 8 of the hallway for at least 5 minutes. ... show more

Yes!. This button is currently triggering my Alexa routines. I could not add it to my Echo 4th gen Zigbee feature, so I had to buy an Aqara E1 hub which is not that expensive. You can achieve this integration by linking your Aqara account to IFTTT, and then using the "Alexa Voice Monkey" skill to bridge IFTTT events to trigger Alexa routines. I find the delay to be very minimal. I am controlling my Kasa light switches with my Aqara button. Goodbye Flic ! ... show more

Brought the Aqara vibration sensor along with an E1 hub and was able to get notifications on dryer cycle completion seamlessly! Had gone through multiple forums which talked about IFTTT automations, coding etc… but the capability is within the Aqara App itself. Just set the automation inside the Aqara app to send notification with a 5 minute delay. Vibration is measured by the sensor every minute. Once the dryer starts, the automation notification will be sent out 5 mins after the last vibration is detected! See attached picture. Note, You might get another notification when removing clothes from the dryer of course :) Easy way to convert your standard washing machine/dryer to a smart one. Got the sensor and hub for $35 during prime day sale. Update: A 10 min delay ( instead of 5 mins) to automation worked better! ... show more

Installed this Aqara door and window sensor on a hinge mounted on the backside of garage door. When garage door moves up to open, the hinge opens up and sensor triggers door opening. Works like a charm. Very happy with this sensor.
