The setup was fairly easy. Have a newer house so wiring was up to date where neutral wire was there but not used with these motion sensor switch. Have them located in bathrooms, hallway and garage entry points. Just make sure power is turned off when installing.

These work well but they are not so easy to install, they are bulky and I needed to rearrange a lot of the wiring in the outlet box to be able to accomodate the bulkyness of these types of devices. This brand is no different than any of these device. I turned of the power and carefully pulled all of the switches out of the box so I could optimize the wiring and packing to get everything back in the box. I was able to easily set the sensitivity, delay and operating mode once installed. I have several of these installed in the garage and attic so I don't have to turn the lights on or off when entering the space. ... show more

I love the convenience and not have to worry about remembering to turn off the lights. I do feel I am saving electricity. You can set the duration that the light stays on. I used to my Lutron sensor switches and thought I’d give these a chance in the new house. All but one worked perfectly. I chatted with Amazon and they happily arranged for a replacement and they are great for the walk-in closets, coat closets, and laundry room.

    • They don't work in a three way application

EDIT: I’m adding a star to this review because the support team of this product was prompt in reaching out to me and trying to remedy the situation. They still don’t work in 3 way applications but I stand behind my recommendation for this product for single pole applications and now you also know that they have a stellar support team. Our electrician was not able to connect it on a three way application where you have two light switches controlling the light (like one down the stairs and one upstairs). He tried for more than an hour, all possible combinations but couldn't get it to work. They work GREAT on a single pole application though, so if you need a great looking switch that is motion sensitive and very reliable for a single pole application I highly recommend them. ... show more
