It's unfortunately going to be a minute until I can get this installed. I am not confident in my electrical skills to hardwire this myself, but home improvement projects have to be put on a backburner for now. My hot water heater is as far away from the bathrooms has possible. It takes forever to get hot water to that end of the house. We end up running a lot of water waiting for the hot water to come. I'm hoping that this will be able to take care of water needs like hand washing and brushing of teeth and the time between when the hot water finally moseys its way to that end of the house. Will update when I am able to get this installed. I can say that the form factor is really small - I was really surprised by it. The instructions are very good and clear, I am just not confident in my electrical ability outside of having something already available to work with, so I will leave that to a professional.

Heater very easy to install and use. It has On/Off and temperature adjustments, no water flow rate adjustments or other issues that was a problem on the unit it is replacing. It appears that it will to be a trouble-free point of heater.

Built a shed for my laundry machines but have only cold water line. Pulling electrical wire wasn't that hard, make sure to turn off the main switch. Manual was really helpful in figuring our how everything connects. The design is sleek and build quality is really good. It works well, I set up the temperature to the max and water flow is enough for the machine.

Overall, it's a decent option for on-demand hot water. The installation was straightforward, and it heats water quickly when needed. The compact design is a plus, as it saves space. However, it does require a significant electrical draw, which might not be suitable for all homes. Sometimes, it struggles to maintain a consistent temperature if multiple taps are in use at the same time. The unit is also a bit noisy during operation, which might be a concern for some. Still, it gets the job done without much hassle.

I got this for my garage sink. After reading other reviews I knew it wouldn't be powerful enough to run a shower but is perfect for running a sink. We only had cold water in the garage so it's really nice to have the option of hot water so we can clean things we wouldn't want to bring in the house. Overall it functions well and was easy enough to install.

This water heater is well packaged and the build quality is very good. I'm wanting to put this one into my bathroom to power the shower and sink in there. It requires running a dedicated 240V line, with a 30 Amp breaker. This will be pretty easy for me as I have an electronics background, but others may need to call in a professional to do the install. My plan is going to require splicing into the hot water line going to the bathroom, and I'm still working out the details of that. I've got another of these units powering my kitchen sink and dishwasher, and that one is working great so far. Oddly, one of the product images here says this isn't to be used for showering for some reason, but I can't find a reason anywhere. Showering is not mentioned in the product manual anywhere that I can find, it doesn't say anything about it at all. It does state that it's designed for continuous use though. I'm gonna try it out anyway. If it can't keep up with the demand or something then I'll just end up getting a better unit to replace this with. Plumbing a shower into it is more complex than a kitchen sink, but I should be able to splice it into the hot water line that runs to the bathroom. Eventually I'd like to have point of use units like this covering my whole house so I can get rid of our main water heater completely.

My buddy lives out in East Texas, a two-hour drive from me. He recently built one of those ultra-tiny homes on his property. It's more of a well-appointed shed, really. The only problem was its lack of hot water, which made overnight stays a very rustic and chilly experience. I decided to solve this problem for him, mostly so I'd have a comfortable place to crash when I visit his main house. I bought this small tankless water heater as a gift. The unit is impressively compact. When it arrived, I thought they might have sent the wrong thing because the box was so small. We installed it under the sink in his tiny home, and it took up almost no space. The installation was pretty simple for someone with basic plumbing and electrical knowledge. The digital display is bright and easy to read, which is a nice feature. It felt like we were installing a piece of spaceship technology in a dollhouse. We turned on the sink faucet, and after a few seconds of cold water, a steady stream of hot water appeared. Success. The real test was the shower. He turned it on, and the little heater kept up perfectly, providing consistent hot water without any sputtering or temperature drops. It's not going to run a whole house, but for a single sink and shower, it's exactly what was needed. It heats the water on demand and doesn't waste energy keeping a large tank hot. This little heater is a fantastic solution for a small space. It’s efficient, compact, and performs its one job remarkably well. Now, my friend’s tiny house has the creature comfort of endless hot water, and I have a free place to stay that doesn't require a cold shower to wake me up. It’s a win-win, powered by a very small, very effective black box.
